The Girl

"Ow."

"'Ow'? That's all you have to say, Harry? You know, this is the part of the story where you've woken up and you say something profound or revealing or even scandalous, and you say, 'ow'."

"Sorry, 'Mione."

"Well, just don't do it again."

"I promise that the next time I wake up after we've taken out a Dark Lord, I'll… profess my undying love to you or… something."

"That's a good boy."

"Will you let me sleep?"

"Ugh! You're supposed to get up, all grand-like, and be perfectly well. And then, you go and get the girl."

"Get the girl?"

"Yes, and snog the living daylights out of her. You simply must."

"I must?"

"Yes."

"Might I ask who this girl is?"

"Yes."

"Well?"

"Well, what?"

"Are you going to tell me?"

"Tell you what?"

"I asked who the girl was!"

"No. You asked if you might ask who the girl was."

"Fine. Who is the girl…"
