Okay guys this is my first fanfic, so please try and be kind to me. Constructive criticism is very welcome.
Elena sat at the dinner table with her family, everyone was talking and happy except Elena, she was to busy checking her phone under the table. She was doing her best not to get caught, it is after all aunt Jenna's last night in town. Elena loves her aunt and doesn't want to seem uncaring, but Caroline would not stop texting her.
"Come on Elena! You have to come to the party, Bonnie completely bailed on me and I can't show up alone." Caroline texted her again. Begging this time.
"I told you, it's family night. I can't just ditch them for some lame party in the woods, it's my aunt Jenna's last night in town and I hardly ever get to see her." Elena text back.
"It totally will NOT be lame, I heard some cute college boys will be there. Just tell your parents that your not feeling well and then sneak out your bedroom window." Caroline text back almost immediately.
Elena sighed, knowing it would be easier to just give it to Caroline then fight it. "Fine, pick me up in one hour around the block from my house." She text back, defeated.
Caroline's response was almost instantaneous. "Yes! We are going to have so much fun! See ya soon."
Elena finally put away her phone, feeling a little guilty, she looks around at her family before saying, "guys, I'm starting to not feel well. I think I need to go lay down."
She then stood up, gave her aunt a hug and told her " have a save trip home, I love you."
"I love you to Elena, I hope you feel better soon sweetie." Said her aunt Jenna.
Elena just turned and walked up the stairs, feeling like a terrible person.
Elena was standing on a dark street corner waiting for Caroline to show up, but she wasn't worried this is mystic falls where everybody knows everybody and nothing ever happens. "Come on Caroline, where are you?" Elena said to herself under her breath. She had been waiting for about fifteen minutes when Caroline finely showed up. As soon as Elena got in the car Caroline could tell she wasn't happy. " I'm really sorry Elena. I had to wait for my mom to leave for work, she didn't want me going to the party." Caroline said with a smile. " it's alright let's just go." elena said determined to make the most of her night out.
When they pulled up to the clearing in the woods where the party was, it was so packed they could hardly move. Rap music was blasting so loud she couldn't even hear Caroline yell "I'm going to get a drink, do you want one?" After her second attempt at talking failed Caroline just pointed to the keg of beer, when Elena shook her head no, Caroline smiled bent over and almost screamed in Elena's ear " OKAY I'LL COME FINED YOU LATER."
Elena desisted to dance and try to have fun, but she wasn't going to drink incase she was the one that had to get Caroline and herself home safely. After about forty five minutes of sweating, being bumped into, groped and grabbed on the dance floor Elena has had enough. After hunting down some water, Elena found a tree stump to sit on and watch the party. she had been there about ten minuets when a voice came out of nowhere. " please tell me that the most beautiful girl at this party isn't going to just sit here alone all night?" Elena jumped, looking up into a set of the most gorgeous blue eyes her words left her and all she could think is. " oh my god this is the sexiest man I have ever seen."
Well What do you think? Is it really bad, should I just stop now? This is my first fanfic so a review would make my day. I also need to know if its worth writhing another chapter.
