A City without a Heart
The city of Christchurch
Once proud with the cathedral
of our lord and saviour
Now only remains in rubble
I walked through your streets
Once glimmering with hope
Now all that's lost
Has God given up on us?
Have we strayed too far?
No! Far from it
Cardboard cathedral
despite the former glory
Brings new hope to the city
that once lost its heart
but gained a new one
through the grace of God
