There were many things that pained me as a child, but most of all was the fact that even though I knew that what I said was the truth, my parents vehemently denied it, no matter what proof I presented. Over time I grew to believe that my adventure into the Spirit World was little more than a very elaborate dream, which I wished to breathe life into.

But for some strange and completely absurd reason, every day after school, I walk back to the tunnel waiting to see that damned statue that seemed to be like a lighthouse by the sea, beckoning travelers, calling at them to rest their weary bones.

But then I came back on the seventh anniversary of being forced into the Spirit World, and there was that damned monkey-rock again and when I saw it, I bolted for the tunnel.
