AN: I wanted to try something that was almost entirely dialogue based. Here it is. This conversation is between Chuck and Sarah.

--Words--

"What are you doing here?"

"This is where we ended our first date, remember?"

"Of course I remember, but it wasn't real. We didn't even know eachother"

"So you like to remind me."

Silence.

"You still haven't answered my question."

"What question was that?"

"Don't be difficult. Why are we here?"

"I'm here because there's something I have to do. No idea why you're here."

"I'm here because you are."

"Well that was wonderfully circular conversation."

"Just trying to be a friend. Isn't that what we are, what you wanted?"

"Yeah. Friendships are great. What a year it has been, huh?"

"There has certainly been enough going on to keep me on my toes."

"You could say that."

"Wha…what are you doing?"

"Kissing you."

"Why?"

"Just something I wanted to do before it's too late."

"What do you mean too late? I've been wanting to move forward for months."

"You don't meant that."

"Yes, I do. There's just always so many people. It was too risky. "

"No. This is the end, not the beginning."

"Put the gun away."

"I can't."

"Yes you can. It doesn't have to be this way. Whatever drove you to this doesn't matter."

"It has to be done."

"What about us?"

"Some things are just more important!"

"What about trust?"

"You can't be serious. You forfeited that when you walked into that conference room."

"Ok…just calm down. Obviously you've got the wrong idea. We can fix things. If you'll just give me a chance. Whatever it is….

"I think my ideas are pretty clear. No more chances. There's too much at stake."

"You won't pull that trigger. It's not in you to kill an innocent."

"You're far from innocent."

"If this is about the flashes, I can explain."

"Keep your hands in front of your body or I swear to god."

"Do it. Fire the gun and kill me. It won't change how I feel or how you feel. I love you."

"I know."

"And you love me."

"I'm sorry, but some things are just more important than love."
