The couple was dead. His ginger hair fell into her face as they the spell hit them. There lasts breaths taken. Harry was dead. And Voldemort ruled the wizarding world, the order of phoenix died out and all good in the world was destroyed. But the good are now together in heaven Harry, Sirius, James and Lily. George and Fred. Cedric and Amos. Hermione and her ginger king.

A/N This is the last chapter of 'I open at the close' your probably thinking how? well you now know the ending but hopefully you want to know how they got there in the end. Here is the ending chapter.

Hermione Granger scrambled up the stairs turning every few seconds to blast a curse at the many death-eaters chasing her finally she made it to the room shutting the thick black door casting many blocking and defensive charms.

Hermione leaned against the dark door her breathes heavy sweat, mud and blood soaking her. She laughed dryly Mud and Blood Draco would be proud at the idiotic pun. Hermione placed her elbows on her knees rubbing her temples her eyes closed. Her leather trousers were ripped blood oozing from the left leg her boots covered in mud, her red top was ripped at the bottom her arms were covered in scratches, mud and once again blood.

Hermione's hair was in a high pony, the raven black hair sticky with blood from the cut on her forehead, cementing the dark hair in a red glue.

"Hermione?!" Came the startling voice of a weasly. Quickly the brightest witch of her age stood and opened the door, pulling the ginger man into her arms.

"You're okay" she whispered her arms looped around his neck it was more to reassure herself more than him.

"You're okay" he replied kissing her temple gently. His arms were looped around her waist.

"Yeah" she whispered breathlessly holding him closer. 'He's okay' she thought to herself.

'She's okay' he thought to himself.

Than not a moment later they took their last breaths. Dying in each others arms as the spell hit the two the death-eater chuckled as the weasly boy fell to the ground his arms wrapped tightly around the mud-blood forcing her to fall on top of him.

The couple was dead.

Their bodies were found two days later by the last member of the order of phoenix later on George weasly killed himself he had no reason to live, Harry was dead. And Voldemort ruled the wizarding world, the order of phoenix died out and all good in the world was destroyed. But the good are now together in heaven Harry, Sirius, James and Lily. George and Fred. Cedric and Amos. Hermione and her ginger king.
