Mal stepped back from the castle wall to admire her artwork. Her mother's silhouette, along with "Long live evil" written across covered a section of the wall. Hands on her hips, she smirked, tossing the spray paint can into her open messenger bag that laid on the floor. "Looking good. I've gotten better since they last painted over it."
Her admiration of her artwork had suddenly been cut short. "Hey! You!" Her head whipped around to see the castle guard. Muttering a string of curses under her breath, Mal made a quick swipe for her bag's strap and ran. Needless to say, the guard went after her. "Stop running!" he called out. "You're under arrest for defacing the castle!"
If the daughter of Maleficent was not so concerned with getting away, she would have rolled her eyes and retorted back with a response typical of a misfit. Instead, she ran through the maze that was the castle grounds. She was tempted to run through the path that had grown familiar to her, but she knew she had used that option one too many times. Last time, she barely made it out without getting arrested. So she decided to resort to another path Jay had told her about from his last night out robbing. Now if only she remembered if she had to take a left or a right at the fountain.
Making a split decision to go right, Mal cursed as she came across another guard and maid with a tray of small sandwiches. a teacup, cups, and spoons. She shoved past them, causing the full tray to fall and the teacup to shatter upon impact. Screams and yells fell upon deaf ears as Mal continued running. A right here. A left there. Continuing on and going straight looks good. Maybe one more right should do it. It took a few more minutes of running plus four additional guards on her heels until she finally made her way to the gate...
Which was not opened widely and looked like it was going to be closed any minute. But Lucifer seemed to be looking up at her today though. There was a teenage boy on a motorcycle, outside the castle gates. But he seemed to be waiting for something. Oh well. If he would not give her a ride, he would have to kiss his motorcycle goodbye.
Soon she noticed another girl's yelling joined along with the guards as she continued running. Not bothering to spare a glance at other possible distraction, she narrowly managed to slip between the gates as they closed.
Adrenaline still pumping through her veins, she got on the motorcycle behind the guy and yelled "Drive! Fucking drive!" The teen was momentarily confused for a moment as he made an attempt to glance back at her. "I will fucking push you off and drive the damn thing myself! So drive!" she screamed again, hitting his back for emphasis and proof that she would go along with her threat. The teen turned around and did as was commanded, speeding away from the castle. As the castle got smaller and the yells faded, Mal sighed of relief. "Thank Lucifer," she murmured.
It was then that the other spoke his first words to her. "My name's actually Ben, but you're welcome anyways."
