"NAMI!" yelled a thunderous scream, startling a young girl from her map drawing. She turned her attention to the man at the door, her captain/boyfriend Monkey D. Luffy, who had his ever so famous wide grin stretched across his face.

"Luffy, I'm in the middle of working on a map." she uttered with an irritated sigh. "Whatever this is, it better be important."

"I was just wondering if we can have a little picnic together, take a little break." explained the young man, feeling giddy about his little surprise for the navigator.

"It always has to be food with you, doesn't it?" Nami mutters to herself, but makes no action to try to dissuade him. "I guess a little break wouldn't hurt."

"Great! 'Cause I know the perfect spot!" Luffy then takes Nami in his arms, surprising her and dashes out of her room. He then stretches his arm to grapple the door of the crow's nest. The door opens, launching the two inside, landing on the couch. Nami was clutching her chest and breathing deeply, surprised at Luffy's actions. Luffy simply laughed in his silliness, causing Nami to bash his head.

"Don't scare me like that! I could've died you know!" yelled the navigator. The straw hat wearing captain simply chuckled and said "Sorry. I just wanted to make his special." He pointed toward the table to find their meal in a classy assortment. Nami's anger diminishes as she gazes at how well prepared this dinner was setup.

She looked at him with a knowing look and said with a smirk "You had Sanji help you out with this, didn't you?" Luffy says nothing, just chuckling and shrugs. Still, she appreciated the thought and motioned him to sit next to her. Thus, they're picnic had started.

"What is happening here?" Inuyasha muttered to himself, wondering how he got himself here. Somehow, Kagome had got him to have some meal with her, when this time could've been spent looking for the other shards of the Sacred Jewel. While he is grumbling to himself, Kagome is enjoying the meal, as well as the view they have of the village. She glanced at Inuyasha, who was just refusing to participate in eating the dinner she made for the two of them.

"You know, you can eat this too. I made it just for us." said Kagome, a bit irked at how stubborn the half-demon was behaving. Before Inuyasha could reply, his stomach began to growl, leaving him to blush in embarrassment and Kagome to chuckle at his expense. He said nothing in response, only beginning to start eating.

"What's the point in this anyway?" muttered Inuyasha. "We should be searching for the other shards, not sitting down, doing nothing."

"Inuyasha, haven't you ever just tried to stop and relax. Take in the beauty of all that's around us?" she asked, only for him to scoff in return. "I'm serious. Just look at the view we have." Inuyasha scoots forward to see what she means, only to look at the village overhead and to his left, a giant landscape gently pushed by the wind. "It's not everyday you can just sit back and enjoy what's in front of you." Kagome continues, with a content smile.

Kagome: Gazing down from the top of the world, suddenly seeing all kinds of beauty. Things look tiny and friendly and fair, seen from the top of the world. (looks at Inuyasha, who looks confused) When you look from high above, everything seems pretty. Seeing life from the top of the world, nothing needs fighting and no one needs pity. (turns her attention back to the view) Thanks for spending this moment with me, when just for a moment things stop here at the top of the world.

Inuyasha now looks to where Kagome is looking, and though he wouldn't admit it out loud, he did enjoy the view.

Luffy simply gazes down from the view of the crow's nest, watching the waves of the ocean flow with the wind. Nami leaned her head on Luffy's shoulder as they hug each other. Nami then looked into Luffy's eyes and smiled, thinking of all the things they've been through together.

Nami: For all these years, I stayed alone and faced more danger. I kept my fears. It wasn't save to trust a stranger, but maybe I was wrong here. Could I belong here? (strokes Luffy's cheek) This man appears and he is kind, and I'm admitting I give three cheers to see us both forever sitting. Look at us sitting on top of the world.

Luffy: Seeing life from the top of the world, nothing needs fighting and no one needs pity. Thanks for spending this moment with me, when just for a moment things stop. Here at the top of the world.

Nami: This man appears and he is kind, and I'm admitting I give three cheers to see us both forever sitting. Look at us sitting on top of the world.

Both: Here at the top of the world.

"Hey Nami," says Luffy, grinning the biggest smile he's ever had.

"Yes?" replies Nami, smiling just as wide.

Luffy: (gestures to the two of them and the view) It's nice. The two of us sitting...

Nami: The two of us sitting...

Both: The two of us sitting...SITTING ON TOP...OF THE...WORLD!

The two lean in for a long, passionate kiss, signifying the love they have for one another. Those things may come and damper their mood, they will always have the feeling of just the two of them, in a world of their own, and they couldn't be happier.
