It was my usual working night at the Paper Lantern, and I was thinking about the first term. It wasn't as bad as I expected, especially the first save the Citizen……………

"We pick Stronghold" said Speed
"and... Peace" completed Lash

That's what I remember the most. They called my name, everyone Drew back and I stood up surprised. I never usually got called they usually stayed well away like little babies scared of getting hurt by the candle.

I was in the ring by the time I had fully realised that I had been called. I remember muttering something unimportant to stronghold and saw him wave at a girl. Typical. That's when I saw her though, sitting with strongholds pals. Looking downbeat and upset. I kind of guessed why, it was obvious to everyone apart from Stronghold.

Then it began

Thinking back now, most of it was a blur, what I really remember was stronghold saving me when Speed was being an idiot. I DIDN'T like him throwing me, and nearly torched him for it, but I 'spose you can't have everything.

After I saw her, rush to see him, and him the ungrateful thing ignore her and his friends that had been there when he wasn't Mr Popularity. To go with Gwen. Now that didn't take a genius to work out; that Gwen was bad news I mean. But still I felt sorry for the hippie and her bunch of Friends.

It was only after I had finished cleaning most of the tables that night, that I spotted her. Sitting in a booth, all alone with her meal untouched before her, And from there; well its history really.
Gwen turned Evil, I took hippie to the dance, she and stronghold got together, and everyone was happy.

Well nearly everyone.
