Why do I love you
It was a gorgeous day at camp; satyrs were playing tunes and all of the couples were sitting in the strawberry fields. The day did not suit someones mood. This someone was pining for Katie Gardner. Her curly, soft brown hair. Her twinkling blue eyes. The way that she appreciated everyone and everything. But on that life changing day, the boy decided to admit his love for her.
Excited, a certain someone hurried to the Demeter Cabin. The boy checked that the coast was clear and slipped a note under Katie's pillow.
'Meet me tonight by the creek', it said in messy handwriting.
The rest of the day, the one who would admit his feelings was bright and cheerful. Everybody, even her, noticed the difference and asked him about it, but he only smiled and winked in response.
Soon enough, it was the time. He slipped out of bed, quickly dressed, brushed his teeth(in case of any kissing), and left. Katie was there.
" Katie?" he called and she turned.
" Hi Travis, I was supposed to be meeting someone here but- oh it's you! So what do you want to tell me?"
" I love you," he said softly.
All of a sudden, Katie kissed him, a moment he'd dreamt of ever since he met her. And it was pure, undiluted Elysium
