Okay.. this is just a little one-shoot between my two favorite characters from DC anime! :D

Brats.
Every story has it's own little romance.
"Um... you are?" Shinichi asked, looked up at the strikingly similar kid in front of him.
"Kuroba Kaito... Magician, you?" the boy grinned, snapping his fingers, revealing a rose that he gave to Shinichi.
"Kudou... Kudou Shinichi.." he mumbled, accepting the rose.
"Hey.. then that woman who's talking with Otou-san your Kaa-san?" Kaito asked as he cheerfully bounced back and forth around Shinichi.
"Does this kid always act like this?" Shinichi thought, blushing a little more, but annoyingly glared at the kid.
"Yes she is, why?"
"Cuz you doesn't look alike... that's why!" Kaito stated, more cheerful than ever in fact.
"Eh... is that so.. I guess I've got my looks from Otou-san!" Shinichi stated, more coldly than he meant to. Kaito blinked, but ignored the tense air around the similar boy.
"Shin-chan, come one... we are going home!" Yukiko said, the two boys snapped their head in the direction and Kaito flashed a grin as he meet the eyes of his father. As he basically flew into the magician's arms, Shinichi walked calmly over to Yukiko, who waited for him with a smile.
In their car, Yukiko stared down at her son, who was deadpanned as always.
"Nee Shin-chan... what do you think of Kaito-kun?" she asked. The boy didn't even look up as he closed his eyes, then he opened them, looking more annoyed.
"Annoying, over-hyper brat!" Yukiko laughed of that.
"I guess. but he is so alike you, you two could be twins and so cute too!" Shinichi turned to her, one eyebrow lifted high and it was even twitching in annoyance.
"What do you mean?" no way this boy could be just 8 years old, when he wasn't acting like one!
"You are both some brats!" she laughed as she pulled out onto the motor road.
Che! so short.. it's say.. but I kind of find it funny Yukiko think of her son as a brat.. anyway.. please review!
