Denton: Whats your real name?
Dutchy: Ivan Kurstian. *smiles proudly*
Denton: How did you become a Newsie?
Dutchy: I got in a fight with the Delancy's when i first came to America. Mush brought me to the Lodging house, and I been a Newsie ever since.
Denton: So you're really from Holland?
Dutchy: *rolls eyes* how else would I get my nickname?
Denton: Hey! *points pencil at Dutchy* You never know, people are weird like that.
Dutchy: *nods* Very true, Denton.
Denton: Yes, I know. So, what happened to your parents?
Dutchy: *looks down at his hands* They died on the ship form some illness, the bodies were tossed into the ocean on the way to America.
Denton: WOW... that's horrible.
Dutchy: *stares at Denton's note pad* Why you writing everything I say?
Denton: Cause this is an interview. you were voted Newsie of the month.
Dutchy: *types fingers annoyingly on Denton's desk* Who voted?
