Wind Beneath My Wings
I have sinned
And made to pay
In the deepest pits
Of my own personal hell
Images and nightmares
Hunt me at night
I close my eyes
Watch my soul in its fight
But a wind begins to blow
'All if forgiven'
My crimes, my sins…?
'Will soon be forgotten'
An angel before me
So pure, so bright
Courage, perhaps… Friendship…
I shall find in his light
Sins now forgotten
He has diminished my pain
My angel, the wind still blows
And not at all in vain
