The Way It's Supposed To Be

Claire: srry but no the talking is dun
Cam dropped his phone down on his bed, walked downstairs, at sat on the ratty old couch in the basement. He shook his head as he thought of what a horrible decision he had made, picking Claire.
It was 7th grade and he fell in love with two girls: the infamous, beautiful Massie Block and the innocent, new girl Claire Lyons. He knew Massie liked him; He knew he liked Massie. And he was going to ask her out. Then he remembered The Pact: no boy could go after a girl another boy had already 'called'. Unfortunately, Derrick had already called Massie.
Why couldn't he have just gone after Dylan or Kristen, they both liked him. But no, it had to be Massie.
The thing was, the stupid Pact had been totally forgotten about: both Kemp and Plovert went after Dylan and Josh went after Claire, even after Cam declared that Claire was 'his'. He ruined his life going after Claire.
Sure Claire was sweet and innocent- but she was also needy. Needy as a baby. It got annoying, quick. Cam did like Claire a lot, so he always forgave her.
Why did he even try this time? The needy one said no. Olivia, the stupid brat that she was, was so annoying he couldn't even stand it. Who was he supposed to love now?
His heart knew the answer: Massie Block. His first love. The brunette alpha; the one that wouldn't get all upset if he supposedly cheated, the one that would ask him. Sure, Cam. The one he was supposed to be with.
Cam got up, knowing this, and got his phone.
"Massie? Meet me at The Great Lawn under the oak tree in 15 minutes."

"Massie. I have a confession."
Massie sighed and crossed her arms menacingly.
"If this is about Claire, she isn't going to take you back." Massie spat.
"This isn't about Claire." Cam pleaded.
"What, then?" Massie tapped her foot impatiently.
"Massie, I love you."
Massie widened her eyes and stumbled back.
"You love me?" she asked.
"Yeah. Obviously Claire and I aren't meant to be. It's supposed to be me and you." Cam stated.
Cam leaned in and kissed Massie. Surprisingly, she kissed him back. No other kiss was sweeter for Massie. Finally, she found her true love, not just some loser in shorts- pardon me, jeans- and shook his butt. She found the real knight in shining armor, the guy with the two different colored eyes and a leather jacket. She found love.
Eh, it was okay. I give most plot credit to cruiseaholic. Review.
