If there's one thing I've learned in this business, it's that truth is a relative term. They say there are always three sides to every story: his, hers, and the truth. I disagree. There are as many sides as there are people; his truth, hers, and so on. The truth can mean different things to different people and people can both be telling you their truth even if the stories are complete opposites. That's what makes being a detective so difficult: trying to piece together what really happened, between each person's truths.
Because truth is just a matter of perspective.
