Late for School.
Alex Rider woke up with a jolt. He looked at his clock. It read: 7:30am. He had just had a nightmare with Sarov. He dreamt that he had shot him and he was put back with K unit for hard base training again. Then he had been sent to SCORPIA and Conrad had not been killed by the magnet and was shot. The piercing bullet had flown through the air and lay embedded in his back.
He got dressed and went to the kitchen. Jack was there and she was smiling for the first time after the Snakehead mission. He knew that there was something good for him for once.
"Morning Jack. What's up with the grin."
"Someone has decided to stay for a year or two," Jack said.
Suddenly someone stepped in the room. Alex knew it was Sabina Pleasure.
"Hey Sabina," Alex said, still rubbing his arm where he had fallen out of bed. "Where are you sleeping?" He asked.
"From tonight in your room," Sabina said, pouring some cornflakes into her bowl.
Alex was surprised at what she said. He brushed the blonde hair from his eyes.
"I'm going to be screaming out in the night Sabina OK," He said eating his cornflakes.
"Why?"
"Nightmares," said Alex, "I had them every night since new year."
Sabina finished her cornflakes and went out the front and got her bike.
Alex went outside and got ready to walk to school.
After 5 minutes he heard Sabina behind him.
"Sabina where's your school?" Alex asked
"Brookland," She said.
That was Alex's school. Was Sabina copying him in a way?
They arrived at Brookland at had being caught in a traffic jam for an hour and a half.
And School started at 9:00am.
