Contradiction
I'm young, but old
I'm fearless, but scared
I lead, but I don't know what to do myself
What am I?
I'm brave, but reckless
I'm perfect, but flawed
I don't want to fight, but do I?
What am I?
I'm reluctant, but I join in
I'm resentful, but forgiving
I make jokes, but do I have anything to laugh at?
What am I?
I'm kind, but unrelenting
I'm peaceful, but in a war
I heal, but I wound
What am I?
I'm human, but animal
I'm simple, but complicated
I look out for the others, but do I look out for myself?
What am I?
I'm alone, but I have friends
I'm ignorant, but a prodigy
I want to go home, and I want to stay here
What am I?
We are human
We are animal
We are relentless
We are forgiving
We don't lose
We don't win
What are we?

Authors Note: I haven't really edited 'Contradiction' as much as I edited my other peoms, but I edited a few small things, and added the soliloquy at the end. Contradiction is probably my least favorite poem, it kinda sounds Dr. Suess like, and thats not the impression I was trying to make. Oh well, I'll live. Thank You for reading.
