I understand
He felt the blade enter his chest. Only to see his dad and Uarhara standing there. They told him to look behind him he did, for the first time in 17 months he looked in to her eyes. He was at a loss for words.
The battle finished and she stayed behind to tend to some last minute stuff for the soul society. They went home, and stood in his room in silence.
"I…" he started, he didn't get to finish before she embraced him he smiled and returned the embrace as sat back on his bed pulling her into his lap. "I missed you" he said burying his face in her hair
"I missed you to, idiot." She said looking up at him with a small smirk.
He looked into her eyes and reflected on the longing he had for her, how he felt like a piece of himself was missing for over a year. Not just his powers but an actual part of him. "You don't understand, I missed you more than anything. I was lost without you I thought I was okay. I thought I could live without you. I was wrong I think I half wanted my powers back just to see y..." she kissed him gripping the front of his shirt. He returned with equal forcing deepening the kiss. Trying to make up for the year they had lost.
"I understand" she said as they came up for air. She rested forehead on his chest. Listening to his racing heart. They sat like that just holding one another for the rest of the night. Both fearing that this might be some wonderful dream and that they would wake up alone. They finally fell asleep only to be awoken by a yelping Yuzu as she tried to rise him for breakfast. She sprinted out of the room with a red face. The two just looked at each other before sharing a good morning kiss and heading down for breakfast.
A/N sorry its so short. I just had this idea after reading the ending to the full bringer arc and wanted to put i down on paper. If you could review that would be great it makes me want to right more. But do be polite.
