It was sunrise when Aang woke up, it was a week since they had left the Air temple and Aang was starting to miss the place a bit.

He forced his eyes opened and saw Zuko leaving the camp, he climbed out of his sleeping bag and got out to follow him secretly, even though Zuko had been with them for two weeks, Aang was still a little wary, better safe than sorry he thought.

Zuko went to a small clearing, just beyond eyeshot of the camp when he pulled out a dagger, it was exotic, nothing Aang ever saw before, and he suspected it to be Fire Nation.

When Zuko aimed the dagger at himself, Aang's eyes went wide, was he trying to kill himself?!

Well, Katara was a bit too harsh on him, okay a lot, but didn't Zuko say himself that he wanted to teach Aang fire bending? He didn't think Zuko was going to give himself up that easily especially after getting his fire bending back!

"No!!" Aang cried. Zuko's head whipped back in shock, this distraction was enough for Aang to knock him onto the ground and safely manacle Zuko's hands and feet with his earth bending.

Suddenly, a water whip smacked down on the back of Zuko's head causing him to fall unconscious. "What?" Aang said bewildered, he turned around to find Katara and Sokka in battle stances.

Katara spoke before Aang could say anything else, "We heard some commotion nearby, and when we found that you and Zuko" she said his name like a bad taste in her mouth, "weren't in your sleeping bags, we came as soon as we could, that little traitor!"

"Ouch, what happened?" Zuko asked groggily regaining consciousness.

"Be quite, filth!"

"Yeah, you're a traitor!"

"What are you talking about?"

"You were trying to kill Aang!"

"Zuko, how could you do this? What about the invasion?"

"It'll get in the way!"

"Zuko, what would your uncle say?"

"Aang, he wanted me to do this a long time ago, why is this any of your business?"

"He really is messed up" Aang thought sadly.

"Aang, what are you talking about?"

"Katara's right! What are you talking about?"

"QUIET!!"

Katara, Sokka and Aang whipped their heads back to find a very angry Toph.

"What is going on here?" Toph yelled.

"Well he"

"No he"

"But him"

"Be Quite!!" Toph yelled, then said, "Sugar Queen starts first"

"Well, Sokka and I woke up to noises of a fight, and came here to investigate, we found Aang taking Zuko down with earth bending and I hit him with my water whip and made him unconscious." Katara said.

"Okay Snozzles, your take on the story" said Toph, a little satisfied that some order had been established.

"Well, like Katara said, we woke up to the sound of a fight, Aang had manacled Zuko then Katara took the traitor down with her water whip." Sokka said.

"Okay Twinkle Toes, your turn" said Toph.

"Okay, I woke up and saw Zuko leaving camp, I followed him here and found Zuko with a dagger, I barely stopped him in time, and he was going to kill himself!" Aang exclaimed.

Katara, Sokka and Toph stared at Aang then at Zuko disbelievingly. (A/N Well Toph couldn't really, because she's blind, but she turned in the general direction of Aang and Zuko.)

"Aang" said Zuko incredulously, "I wasn't going to kill myself, I was cutting my hair."
