Here Comes Goodbye: A DxC One Shot Fanfiction
Duncan was sitting in a chair, waiting for the arrival of Courtney. "Why is she taking so long?" Duncan asks himself, turning on the radio. "Here Comes Goodbye starts playing as Courtney pulls up at his driveway.
Just like in the song, Courtney came up to his porch steps, & they talked. "I don't think this relationship is working out. I mean, you're a criminal, I'm a girl who's the EXACT opposite." Courtney says as Duncan interrupts him.
"I know what you're about to say, Courtney. It looks like-"Duncan says. "This is the end. This is goodbye." Courtney says, as the lyrics "Here comes the bride, but here comes goodbye!" Every moment together from the meet, to their first kiss, to her elimination, to TDA, & now flashed before Duncan's eyes.
Duncan listened to the last of the song, tears coming out his eyes. He thought of everything, but as Courtney left, he yelled to her, "I'LL Change! Give me 3 weeks!" Courtney left with these final words. "I'll be back. Just you wait, & if you change, I'll be by your side."
And with those words, Duncan cried his eyes out & said to himself, "I will change, just you wait Courtney, I will.
