Separation Anxiety
by D. Reed
He worried the moment they decided to split apart, ritualistic speech be damned. Ichigo never would admit that, though, especially since Rukia had told him time and again not to worry about her.
Rukia's warning be damned, he decided after a matter of minutes on his own route. That bad feeling still prickled the back of his neck; an awful feeling in the pit of his stomach. He worried for Inoue too, but... it just wasn't the same. He knew Inoue was alive – Aizen had a purpose for her. Rukia was vulnerable, and it ached. Badly.
Be safe, he prayed.
