Dreaming out loud
by Kelly Moreland
I woke from a dream of you, my sheets twisted in knots. Were you dreaming of me too? I remember my hands upon your skin, my fingers entangled in your blonde hair. Your lips on mine. Were you dreaming of me too? I can still feel my chest pressed against your breasts, two hearts racing as one. Our bodies joined, our lips pressed together. Were you dreaming of me too? The fine sheen of sweat that covered us, the way we lay together afterward, content. Please tell me you were dreaming of me too.
