I felt like writing a 1 chapter tragedy
Sunsets
He stared out at the oceans blue misty scene while the sun was setting sending a rainbow of colors to the evening sky. At first he didn't sense a presence but when some one put their hand on his shoulder they knocked him out of his weary trance and sent him back to the real world.
"Oi" he grunted in remark.
"Look we all miss him I know but that doesn't mean we can sit her feeling sad for ourselves." She said softly
"Look around you what do you see?" he replied " A ship of nothing, but sadness and tragedy."
"I see a poor soul with nothing but darkness consuming his heart" the red head said " that's not a good thing for a captain"
" Did you think that I might not want to be a captain I am a swordsman not a captain"
He said.
"But you must it is a hard task I know but Usopp can do it nor can Sanji so you are the only one the only first mate that Luffy had the only one strong enough out of us all that can do the job. Luffy trusted you he saw the inside of you not the evil, tough guy outer shell of yours.
" I thought I had experienced the worst pain possible but I was wrong this a wound I may never be able to heal watching your best friend die in front of you is not something I take pleasure in." he said at last " It hurts even more then someone can imagine"
" And we have to move on with our lives"
"……" he could say no more about that
" So what do we do now Captain?" she asked softly
A grin spread on his face "Why find One piece of course in the name of our fallen captain Monkey D. Luffy."
