So I had a recent event happen to me this Friday. My laptop got soaked in a ton of water, and it died….
I was devastated that I may have lost a lot of files, information, and data, but I was happy to discover that my hard drive, and all the data within, was intact and safe.
So today, Sunday, I moved all my information towards my new, stronger laptop...and officially banned drinks from being anywhere near 30 feet (10 meters) near it. :P
Hope you all enjoy this tiny story!
Underneath the warm glowing sun, laying upon a soft blanket, a catgirl rested. Her ears flicked time to time, as her breaths came out slow and even. Her tail gave a idle wave here and there, mainly remaining close to the ground. Her auburn hair sparkled in the sun, as her bell jingled slightly from the mellow breeze.
Nearby, two people were fighting. One of them was a short, thick hunter, a bear's fur draped over him as some sort of hood, his hammer in his hand. The other was a short, hovering rabbit humanoid, covered in various hues of blues and oranges. They were walking towards Xiao, their voices raised in anger. They continued their nearly incoherent yelling, before the fat hunter's foot landed on Xiao's tail.
Xiao's eyes opened quickly, a loud scream of pain coming out of her, feral yowling mixing with cries of pain. Osmond and Goro looked at Xiao with a shocked look, both of them being thrown out of their argument. With a feral scream, Xiao began clawing at Goro, who stumbled backwards, his fat foot releasing Xiao's foot from its grasp.
"Xiao, what the hell-" Osmond started, only to get covered in various scratches from the catgirl. He tried in vain to cover himself, only to have tears, rips and scratches on his arms and face, a few of which managed to scratch his goggles.
She resumed her attack on both of them a short while, screaming profanities and insults, before she skittered away, hiding under a shade of a nearby tree, giving her tail a careful look over. She hissed as she lightly poked it, running off to find some way to heal it.
"What the hell was that about?" Goro said, the fat hunter covered in hundreds of scratches and bites.
"I think we need to fix Xiao..." Osmond said, one of the lenses popping out of his goggles.
No idea really. Just kinda went full ham, and haven't written Dark Cloud in a while.
