A/N: Hi guys! Happy Summer! A couple of weeks ago, for my Creative Writing Class final, we were to write about a journal topic we had covered previously in the year. We were given 3 journal topics a week and were to write the first thing that came to our mind. My mission was that every journal we had on a Friday, I would write Fanfiction, and the journal topic Something I can't deny was one of them. For the exam, we had to revise the journal & write a cover letter, so since I wrote Fanfiction for my final, I decided to post it here! Just a small drabble. Here's to summer you guys. ((:
"C'mon, let's watch a horror film," I nudged Kurt playfully in the side.
"Uh, actually, Blaine Warbler Anderson, I'd enjoy having my sleep, thank you. Let's watch something a little less horrifying," Kurt said, picking out The Notebook from the shelf. I rolled my eyes.
"And the undeniable sadness of The Notebook isn't horrifying to you?" I teased.
"It's better that ANY horror movie," Kurt retorted, handing me this disc case. His glassy blue eyes softened and his voice, a little hushed.
"And besides, you just want to force me into cuddling with you," Kurt smirked. I grinned a little bit, and sighed.
I wouldn't deny it.
"Fine, we'll watch The Notebook," I pouted
"Deal."
We ran down my basement stairs, the temperature free falling as we descended.
"Jesus, Blaine, its cold down here," Kurt exclaimed. He walked over to the corner of the room and grabbed a giant, fuzzy blanket. He seated himself on the couch as I put the DVD into the player. I turned around, proud of myself for resisting the temptation to look at Kurt and sat on the other side of the couch, and evident yet playful pout still on my face.
"C'mon, Blaine, it's cold," He said to me. I shook my head no.
"I know you want to cuddle with me," Kurt grinned. I still wouldn't deny it.
"Cuddle with me?" He asked. Damnit. I wanted to cuddle. I finally turned towards him and grinned, nodding and quickly snugging between the blankets with Kurt.
My eyes constantly flickered between Kurt and the movie. To be honest, I've watched The Notebook fifty thousand times, so I don't really care if I miss out on anything this time. Even in a room dimly lit only by a TV screen, Kurt remained the most beautiful creature to ever walk on Earth. There was something about his smooth, flawless, porcelain skin that never failed to make my heart beat a little bit faster. There was something about the way his eyes twinkled a little bit when he sang or talked about something he loved. There was something about the way a blush as red as roses would coat his pale cheeks when his friends embarrassed him. There was something about his beautiful blue eyes and his plump, pink lips that were so enticing, so beautiful, that I often let my gaze linger on them a few more seconds that I should have. I couldn't deny that there was something about Kurt Hummel that made me tick, that made me forget a world still revolved outside of us. Everything always felt so right when my hands were intertwined with his, even when everything was wrong.
"Blaine?" Kurt asked
"Mhhm?"
"Are you going to watch the movie tonight?" A wide, toothy grin spread across his face like the plague. They blush on my cheeks burned through my skin.
""I think you're much more interesting," I retorted.
"You're lucky I love you," Kurt smiled.
I grinned at him, blue eyes meeting hazel. I squeezed his hand and placed a kiss on his lips. I could feel his smile on mine.
I fell in love with Kurt Hummel, and I couldn't deny it.
