Liv has had a crush on Holden since third grade, even though he stole her favorite pen. When she moved to Hollywood she couldn't stop thinking about him, she had a major case of the crushies. Now Holden lives next door and goes to her school, what could possibly go wrong?
*Liv's POV*
"I can't believe Holden lives next door now"
"Why he's just our neighbor that's going to our school now" Maddie says nonchalantly
"Yeah our super cute neighbor that just so happens to go to our school"
"Oooo, Livies got a boyfriend" Maddie teases
"Stop it, no I don't" I whine
I wish I did, I really do like Holden and prom is in two weeks maybe I can get him to ask me before then.
*The next day at school*
"Ugggh" I say shutting my song book and slamming my locker
"Hey what's all the fuss about" Holden says walking up behind me
"Holden!, you scared me"
"I'm sorry, what's wrong" he asks
"I'm just so stressed about prom because I'm head of the prom committee and we don't even have decorations yet and prom is in two week and on top of that I have to write a song to sing at prom then….. I have to find a date" I yell from all the stress
"I could help with decorations if you want me too"
"You would do that"
"Yeah sure it sounds fun"
"OMFG Holden you're a life saver" I say hugging him out of excitement
"No problem, so when do we meet up" he asks
"Oh, umm…this afternoon after school in the gym"
"Okie dokie" he says realizing what he just said and we both start laughing
"ART SCULTURE COMING THOUGH!" Andie yells coming through the hall with a ginormous art sculpture
"Andie!" I yell greeting her
"Oh hey Liv, who's the boy" Andie says in a teasing tone
"Oh this is Holden our super cuuu-ool…Supper cool new classmate Holden" I save myself
"Oh ok cool what's up" she greets Holden
"Hey super cu-ool Holden" she greets him
"Hey, so your on the prom committee too?" Holden asks Andie
"Yeah, Liv made me" she says nudging me playfully
"Well I got to go to the office but I'll see you this afternoon" Holden says walking towards the office
"He's really cute" Andie says
"Yeah…I guess" I say playing it off
"Well I got to get this to the art room" she says pointing at the art sculpture
"OK see you this afternoon"
*In the gym after school*
"Okay I'm here what do you need me to do" Andie says walking into the gym
"Hey Andie can you decorate the entrances"
"Yeah tape me" she says as i hand her the tape and she walks toward the first entrance
"Hey Liv what can i do for you" Holden says startling me
"Holden!, sorry you scared me" I say blushing "Umm can you help me hang the backdrop on the stage"
"Yeah sure"
"So how's your first day at Ridgewood" I ask trying to make conversation
"Good although I must say, it's the first time I've been caught I a butterfly net" Holden says laughing "So I heard you were singing at prom."
"Yeah, I just cant think of any lyrics for my song"
"It's not about a boy that just moved in next door and just started going to your school is it" Holden jokes
"Psshhhh what, noooooo" I say even though its true
After we're done hanging the backdrop Maddie comes I yelling
"What, why are there chandeliers where my net should be, I need to shoot this ball" she yells
"Um, Maddie are you okay?" I ask her
"Yeah, I just need to blow of some steam, what's up with you and Holden, you've been looking at him with googley eyes all day, are you going to ask him to prom" she asks excited
"OMG NO!, I'm just fishing around to see if he likes me, do you think he likes me" I ask nervously
Before Maddie could answer Andie runs over to us all excited
"I'm going to the prom with Holden" she sequels jumping around "I got to go tell Willow" she runs off
"Liv you okay" Maddie asks me tears escape from my eyes
"Andie's got a boyfriend" I cry into Maddie's shoulder
