Chapter 1:Ask her out already!
Val, Tyler sat in the lounge of the Kingsport Ems station. They were alone. Tyler really wanted to ask Val out. Of course he'd been wanting to ask her out for a long time.
Val been dying to go out with Tyler He'd been getting more and more gorgeous every day. The Kingsport High Winter Ball was coming up. She'd been hoping he'd ask her.
"So Val, you going to that...."Tyler began but he was cut off by the call alarm meaning they had a call. Tyler sighed and jumped up.

Val sat in the room she shared with her 12 year-old sister Brooke flipping through a magazine. Brooke was downstairs helping her mom in the kitchen to prepare dinner.
"Why wont he ask me out?" she thought. "I thought he liked me".

Tyler sat in his room with Hank and Jamie. "You know Tyler you shouldn't be here joking with us you should be on the phone discussing you dance plans with Val,"Hank said.
Tyler sighed wishing he was.
