Summary: This is a short poem on how Sakura felt after Sasuke betrayed the Leaf Village.
Silent Tears
Your last words still haunt me…
Like a memory that can't be erased.
"Thank you."
Those two simple words shattered my world.
But why?
You told me I was annoying…
My heart is now broken…
And shattered…
Into thousands of pieces sinking slowly into the bottom of my silent tears.
I'm drowning in my own sorrow and pain…
Is this how you felt?
Alone?
Lost?
Was I ever anything to you?
Or, was I merely a burden…
Just something holding you back.
My life is forever incomplete…
And, full of pain and silent tears.
With out you here a piece of me will always be missing.
How can I stop this…
This pain…
It's unbearable the way I feel…
This feeling of not knowing whether to love or hate you…
I should hate you but I can't.
Your sweet memory is forever burned into my mind.
Do you ever think of me?
Or, am I still just that annoying girl?
Did you ever care?
I'm losing myself to the sorrow…
Forever drowning in my own silent tears…
