Part I-
"What's happening here? "
"Huh? " the two unstoppable teens whose noses were on the verge of smaking each other halted and looked at the intervening person with dangerously raised eyebrows.
Zeo looked at them with answer seeing innocent expression and others' attention diverting from the fighting couple for a moment.
"Did I walked into the wrong time? " Zeo was half nervous and half confused.
"Yes!" Tyson and Hillary yelled openly.
"Uh," the non human blader flinched a little with nervousness still evident on his face. "Is something wrong? " he asked carefully trying to hide his frightened state inside.
"Yeah, nothing is wrong with these two fighting all the time." Ray said calmly, his brows resisting the glares from the champion and the cheerleader.
"Well, oh I remember now, I was searching for Max actually. Is he there? " He asked with his eyes analyzing the dojo to find any hints.
"Nope, he's not here. " Ray shrugged.
"And so you were saying me that I'm the bossiest girl ever! " her cheeks rose in intense anger like she would blast any moment, "How dare you say that Tyson Granger! Did you even know any girl who could spend even a day with you without shouting at you for once!"
"Yes! you are the one! And as for girls! I'm sure there would be plenty who wouldn't be commanding and selfish like you! " he said too loudly and confidently his chest puffing with loudness.
"Oh you can't have one! I'm sure about this more than that you'll ever get rid of being lazy! " she smirked, relaxing down her shaking body from shouting at him.
"Do they fight like this since past two years? " Zeo whispered hesitantly in Ray's ears.
"Yeah, " Ray sighed.
"Shut up you idiot! "Hillary yelled
"Oh no, I won't!" Tyson snickered, knowing how much that would rage her even more, "I'm not going to miss out any crack in your ego unexploited today! " he yelled almost seeming ferocious.
"Oh, so you're gonna do it huh?" she asked sarcastically, her voice dangerously low and offended.
"Yeah! " he retorted contendly.
"Ha! But you know what, your ego is worse than distorted, because it's smothered with infallible cracks that are inevitable! " she bellowed during which her eyes were half closed and her hair blowing back harshly.
"Prove it you- ego maniac! " he said without even a trace of remorse.
"Tyson will you just stop it! " Ray said suddenly popping in between them and closing his eyes briefly in immeasurable annoyance, "C'mon, stop bickering for something that's beyond trivial! " he was like almost panting and frustrated at their naive behavior.
"Oh Puh-lease Ray, you clearly know that she's being wickedly invincible and obstinate about defining me!" Tyson rolled his eyes saying the sentence in one go.
"Oh," there was a gasp from Hilary's side and she focused on Ray to continue while Tyson stood his ground impervious.
"And-"
"Oh Zeo? "Max walked in with a girl following from the back.
"Oh hey, I was searching for you. " Zeo exclaimed half in pleasure half in rush.
" Why what happened? " Max asked.
"Nothing," Zeo shrugged hesitantly, "just wanted a re match if that's okay?" he smiled.
"Oh okay, no problem. " Max smiled brightly shifting his eyes to the fighting trio.
"Uhmn, are you two" Max said slowly making out what's happening, "again fighting and Ray's solving your problem? " he asked innocently.
"This is not a fight, it's a battle! And I'm gonna win this by proving her wrong. " Tyson barked.
"Ray, shall we eat something? I'm hungry. C'mon, let's go inside..and oh yeah, meet my new friend. "Max ushered her to meet his friend.
Ray walked from between them, "Hey, hi." he said politely.
"Hello," she said cheerfully, "You can call me Blue Lightning. " she winked cutely.
That earned a light blush to Ray nonetheless he let it go quickly.
"Sorry? "
"Haha, Ray don't read books Devi, he doesn't know of you. " Max rolled his eyes. " Ray, this is Devi, she's Kai's cousin. " Max explained.
"What?!" everyone deadpanned, "Kai's cousin? " they asked pointing to the girl.
"Did Kai even has a cousin?" Tyson looked at the sky placing his index finger on chin and thinking stupidly.
"I never knew he even has siblings. "Hillary said incredulously.
"Haha, don't act like this in front of him, Tyson and Hillary. " Max cheered.
"So what is she doing here with you Max? " Ray asked.
"Yeah, Kai got little busy with paper work at the company quarters, so he asked me to pick her from airport. " Max smiled.
'Why is he so happy? Does he like her? ' Ray thought.
Shaking his head from the thought, he asked, "How do you know Kai's cousin look like? "
"Oh guys, you're questioning like you don't believe me. I'm Kai's cousin. " Devi pouted angrily but then smiled, "My name's Devika Hiwatari, and I'm a year younger than him. You won't believe but I'd kidnapped Kai just before he was send to Abbey, but Voltaire Grandpa found us, though after a week and took him away from me. "
She gave a sad smile. Everyone fell silent when they remembered how much Kai had suffered and they were shocked and amused how the little female of Hiwatari dared to kidnap him! Zeo chuckled lightly but liked the attitude of her.
'She's kinda adorable' he thought instantly.
"What happened, why are you all starting at me this way? " she sweatdropped.
"It's nothing! C'mere Devi! We will make something in kitchen." Hillary suggested sweetly and ushered her inside which she without hesitation agreed and gave a smile to Max before going in. Max winked at her cutely and Ray gasped.
"I'm so glad she's gone" Tyson sighed.
He glanced at Ray who seemed to be pondering carefully.
"Chill up Ray, she is Kai's cousin. I made her talk on phone with Kai myself." Max smiled.
"Oh yeah, " Ray said unsure, "Well I do trust you." he uttered coherently.
"Hey Max, what about a beybattle! " Tyson asked enthusiastically.
"Hold on, I'd asked Max for a re match first Tyson. " Zeo raised his hands.
"Uh, I forgot. "Tyson said remembering that he came here for that purpose.
Max gave a thumbs up and started launching their blades.
Tyson glanced at Ray.
"Not me Tyson. Sorry but I'm not in a mood of battling right now. "
"Wh-hy? " Tyson's eyes widened.
"Simply. " he smiled and walked inside. Tyson groaned inwardly and stomped his feet out, getting instantly slipped by a small puddle and getting a good slap from the street.
"Shit, I'm in no luck today! Argh" his mind was cursing the brunette for all the bad things happening to him starting from getting an almost heart attack from Hilary's shouting or better say cackling of waking him up by throwing a bucket of water.
'She's behaving as if I'm her slave! ' he thought sarcastically getting a good angry face.
"Tyson, would you like to come with me to a restaurant? "
"Why the hell I'd go with you!"
He shut his mouth immediately as he instantly realized who was speaking.
"Alright then Tyson, I'm going alone myself or I'll better ask Daichi. "
"Simy wait, I didn't mean it, I didn't see it was you. "
"Wait a go Tyson! " she yelled back sarcastically and stomped off.
He punched his head in frustration and groaned, and was getting a good deal of rage against Hilary. If it was in his hands, he would lock her in a dark room and laugh the hell out of him untill she screams.
He turned with wicked smile and dark eyes as he walked inside the dojo.
Hilary changed into a short sleeved Grey top with light pink skirt and Devika was baking cake with her. The scent of chocolate drove him crazy for the moment. Before he could reach inside the kitchen, she strode out and traipsed upstairs in an empty room. There was one, opposite to Tyson's and it got filled with piles of her night wears and a few books that casually got occupied here and that room came be known as Hilary's room.
Sensing that Hilary would be there, he thought to shadow her. Devika was cleaning the counter and slicing mangoes and strawberries. The chocolate smell still lingered a little.
She was murmuring a sweet melody while rubbing the clear slab with a cloth and placing the fruits in a dish. She felt comfortable in his cousin's friend's house who was a little horrible when it came to fights with his girlfriend- that's what she thought.
She sighed as her work finished.
She gasped breathlessly for a nanosecond as she felt a hand on her shoulder from back. She turned and her horrified expression transformed into a pleasant smile.
"Kai! So finally you returned huh. " she beamed in joy.
"Yeah, Hiro's fiance has arrived today as well and he took a leave and I'd to complete the copies "he said with half exhaustion and half relief.
"Aw, that's not fair. Btw, is Hiro your acquaintance? " she asked.
"Oh no, he is Tyson's Brother. We are working together since a year now and there's no hope if Tyson will be good enough to work with us peacefully. "
"Haha, I saw that. He gets tempered easily or I don't know if that's because of his little girl friend. " she snickered a little.
"Uh, no Devi, they aren't dating. Those two are just meant for bickering." he sighed.
"Seriously? "
He nodded and shifted his gaze to the oven.
"Hilary must have forced you into this. " he smiled.
"She's a pretty good girl I don't understand why she gets the red flame when she's around Tyson." Devi chuckled, " Does she have a crush on him? "
"Maybe" he said filing the glass with water.
"Where is Maxie? "
"I saw him battling with Zeo? "
"C'mon let's go." she grabbed his arm and rushed out.

Ray was watching some tournament match sitting comfortably on the couch.
"And that's done! Ladies and gentlemen, please give a big hand for Abhi for winning this battle! " Jazzman announced in a good loud tone. Ray noted the female blader.
Guffaws-Yeeeeaaaahhh!
There are good newbies this time. Nice...
His attention broke when his phone rang. It was his lil sister.
"Hey lil sis, wat'cha you doin'" he asked cheerfully.
"Ray, bro will you ever speak properly! It's not wat'cha, it's what are; correct your grammar brother. " she shouted on the other side.
"Sorry Sweety Woodferns, I'll take care of that. " he smiled sarcastically, anger dropping in controlled manner through his face, "What are you doing then?" he framed the question carefully.
"I was getting dressed for going out with the duddetes. " CRSW said cheerfully.
"Oh, okay. Is there something you need?"
"Yeah, please don't make useless announcements that I'll be coming tonight because I can't, okay?" she said loudly getting out of the noisy arena.
"Oh alright, I won't. " Ray nodded.
"Take care, love you, bye. "
"Love you too bro! Bye! "
Ray sighed briefly and his head sunk down.
"And that's over! The winner of this beybattle is Ezabella!" Jazzman screamed through the screen and Ray looked at the TV screen to realize he'd missed the match.
