Harsh winds and rain blew through the hills of Hillsbrad Foothills. The rain fell with such thickness that not even the quickest rogue could shiv his daggers through it. The Forsaken and Orc guards still stood their watch either way, keeping the Horde base of Durnholde Keep safe from any attackers. For even through the heavy rainfall and misted winds, the Alliance was just as relentless as the Horde to attack them in such weather. This would not stop the Orcish Stone Guard Hughes – or Huggies as he was sometimes referred to as – from striking down any attacks.

The winds picked up their speed and buffeted Huggies and his squad. On patrol with him was a feisty blood elf paladin named Arca and a sullen, undead priest named Marco. Deciding to take a little break from the harsh weather, Huggies led his crew to an area covered with trees. Even though it wouldn't be much cover, it would be better than to be exposed.

"Ew! Yuck! I think I stepped in something," Arca exclaimed, lifting up her leg to look at her boots.

Arca was against the idea of taking cover, claiming it was just a little rain, and persisted on continuing along the road to protect the base. However, Huggies knew better than to look at the seemingly innocent paladin and take her word for 'protecting' as a good thing, when in reality it was a metaphor for 'hunting and piking'.

Huggies laid down his pack and shield, placing them up against the tree.

"Relax, we're just taking a break is all. You aren't against that are you Marco?"

The undead priest was too busy playing around with a coin he picked off the body of an Alliance hunter a few days ago. He smiled as he tossed it, his yellow eyes glaring over it's etched emblems.

"Marco!" Huggies barked at him.

Marco jumped and dropped the coin into a small puddle of mud from being startled.

"No!" The undead exclaimed and dropped to the ground, sounding as if he was about to cry.

"My coin! My coin! No! Oh no it's gonna get dirty!"

Arca snickered at Marco, looking as if she was about to be her typical smartass self, but decided against it and lowered her pack. Like Huggies, she kept her weapons attached to her. Out here in the Foothills, anything could come out and attack you, from the local Shadowmage that takes up residence in the tower to the scout that stands on the walls dividing Hillsbrad and Arathi.
