Disclaimer: I own no characters from RHPS, though it would be marvellous to. Don't forget to R&R, enjoy!
Frank stumbled into the kitchen at 10am, still tired from 'entertaining' his guests last night. His corset and fishnets had been discarded for a pair of short pyjama pants, but he wore a fluffy dressing gown to come down to breakfast - he had accidentally spilled hot maple syrup on his bare torso enough times to know that burning isn't a great start to the morning. Magenta had already cooked his bacon, eggs and pancakes, so he grabbed a glass and some orange juice from the fridge and sat down at the table, which now had a welcoming, blue gingham tablecloth on it.
As his plate was being put down in front of him, he quickly tried to push his unruly hair out from in front of his face (although his attempts were, predictably, in vain). Being quite a bit of a teenager at heart, he viciously dug into his pancakes first (being very careful with the maple syrup), and finished them in no time at all.
As he started on his eggs, Columbia came in, shoulders slumped and eyes red as if she'd been crying all night. Frank drew his shoulders up towards his ears, which he had a habit of doing when he was nervous or scared. He was sure she was going to scream at him or hit him or something after the incident with Eddie, but she stayed silent, glumly munching on a burnt corner of bacon.
Frank, feeling rather awkward at this point, cleared his throat and said, "Are you ok?" Columbia looked up from her plate and stared at him sadly for a moment, then looked back down and muttered, "Not the best morning of my life." The guests had left earlier in the morning, which was just as well for Frank, who got up and slid his arm around her, kissing her forehead. Columbia knew that he wasn't great with words, and this was his way of saying sorry. "It's ok, I know why you did it," she whispered. Frank looked at her apologetically for a few beautiful seconds before slowly turning away to work in the lab.
Before he'd even made it to the elevator, the door bell quietly rang, and Riff Raff stumbled drunkenly out of his room to answer it while Frank sighed and went to grab his lingerie. They all quickly assembled, with Magenta on the staircase, Columbia in the ballroom, and Frank quickly changing up in the lab. The music started up as the guests walked in, and Frank prepared himself when it stopped - he always got jittery when guests came in and the spotlight was on him. Taking a deep breath, he pressed the button on the elevator, turned around, and started tapping his foot.
"How do you do? I see you've met my faithful handyman..."
I hope you enjoyed that – I wanted to write a story on how Frank is when he doesn't have to be confident and 'entertaining' all the time ^w^ Reviewing would be greatly appreciated, and I loves you all!
