For years, a little red robin wanted to spread her wings and fly, but she couldn't. "Oh come on!" The little bird named Chirp said. "I need to learn how to fly!" Suddenly, Chirp fell into the water. Normally, she would be afraid of water, but she got over that fear. "Hmm. Not bad water if I do say so myself." Chirp said. Then she tried flying while she was still in the water. Her best friend, Peep saw her. "Chirp!" Peep said. "What are you doing in the water? I thought you were afraid of water."
"I used to, but then Quack pushed me into the water and I sort of got used to it. Now I come in every day." Chirp said. "Well I'm glad you got over your fear of the water." Peep said. "Yeah." Chirp said. Peep looked around. He didn't see Quack around. "Where is Quack?" Peep asked. "No idea. I'm glad that he's not here. You know that duck. He yaps every single day!" Chirp said. "So how's your flying going?" Peep asked. Chirp sighed. "Not so good. Peep, what's wrong with me?" Chirp asked. "I don't know." Peep said. "I have more feathers now, but I still can't fly." Chirp said. "Well maybe you need to practice more." Peep said.
"Good idea Peep. I'll do that." Chirp said. For hours, Chirp was trying to fly over and over again in the water. Then Quack jumped into the water and he splashed Chirp. Chirp didn't freak out. "Hello Chirp!" Quack yelled. Chirp groaned. "Quack, what do you want!? I'm trying to focus on my flying!" Chirp yelled. "Okay. Um...Can I ask you a question?" Quack asked. "What?" Chirp asked. "Well how come you're in the water?" Quack asked. "Well ever since you threw me in last week, I got used to it. Now I go in this water almost every day. Now please stop talking to me. I need to learn how to fly before winter comes." Chirp said.
"Fine. You don't have to be bossy." Quack said. "Look, every day you get on my nerves! I'm trying to fly with some peace and quiet!" Chirp yelled. Peep saw Chirp and Quack. "Is there any room for me?" Peep asked. "Sure. Jump in!" Quack said. "No!" Chirp yelled. Peep jumped into the water. "Yahoo!" He yelled. "Now lets play a duck game." Quack said. "Okay." Peep said. Chirp growled. "So lets put our feet out of the water and splash around." Quack said. "Sounds like fun." Peep said. "Oh no! No more silly duck games! Quack! You've been driving me crazy every single day and I can't take it anymore!" Chirp yelled. While she was yelling, she was flapping her wings and she actually was flying. Peep and Quack were silent.
"Do you have anything to say to me?" Chirp asked. "Yes. I do. You're flying!" Quack yelled. "Yeah right. I'm...hey. You're right. I am flying! I can fly! I can fly!" Chirp yelled. She kept flapping her wings. "Yay!" Peep yelled. "Just don't fall into the water." Quack said. "I won't." Chirp said. "And even if I did, I wouldn't be scared of the water."
"See? This wasn't my fault." Quack said. "But you still annoy me." Chirp said and she flew away. "Am I really that annoying?" Quack asked. "Well you're not annoying to me, but you are to Chirp." Peep said. Quack sighed. "You're right. I've got to apologize to her." Quack said. "I'll follow you." Peep said. Peep and Quack walked over to Chirp's tree, but they didn't see Chirp. "Where's Chirp?" Quack asked. "Oh no." Peep said.
Quack started screaming. "Oh no! Chirp's gone! No!" Quack yelled. Peep also screamed. "Oh no! Chirp! Where are you!?" Peep asked. Chirp saw her friends. She laughed. "Wait. I hear Chirp." Peep said. "Chirp! Where are you!? Can you hear me!?" Quack asked. "Yes I can!" Chirp said. "Where are you?" Peep asked. "Look up in the sky." Chirp said. Peep and Quack looked up. They saw Chirp flying. "Hi." She said. "There she is." Quack said. "Are you alright?" Peep asked. "I'm perfect! Now I can fly south with the other birds." Chirp said.
Peep and Quack gasped. "It's been my dream to fly with the other birds and now I can." Chirp said. "Chirp, can you please land?" Peep asked. "Why sure." Chirp said and she landed. "We don't want you to go right Quack?" Peep asked. "Well actually, it would be better if she went." Quack said. Chirp stared at Quack and flew away. "No! Chirp! He didn't mean to!" Peep said. "Oh I did." Quack said. "Quack. Why?" Peep asked. "Because she gets very angry at me when I'm having fun." Quack said. Chirp came back. "Oh Peep. I'm not worried about Quack." Chirp said. "But I'm going to miss you."
"Me too Chirp." Peep said. "But lets not worry about that now. It's still the beginning of September." Chirp said. "I'm so glad that you can fly Chirp." Peep said. "Me too Peep." Chirp said.
The End.
