Vince Noir turned over in his sleep, moaning slightly. He'd been having horrid nightmares for a while now. Perhaps it was all the cheesestrings he ate before bed. He didn't know for sure.

He went to stretch, but right arm was stopped by something. What was it? A wall? Had he been buried alive? He hit it again. It was most definitely a wall. He began to wildly kick and punch the wall. The wall let out a deep, manly grunt. It was alive! Then he heard a voice, a familiar one, one that seemed so far away yet it was so close.

"Easy now Vince, don't panic."

Vince began to panic even more now. The voice belonged to Howard! And it was coming form the wall! The wall had absorbed Howard. Either that, or he'd been buried next to Vince. Vince awoke and sat bolt upright, screaming.

"Howard!" he cried out, now sobbing. "Howard, I hope you're ok!"

The "wall" sat up, gently wrapping his arms around Vince and holding him close.

"Shh Vince, it's ok."

He looked up, and his blue, tear-filled eyes were met with the chocolate brown tired eyes of a much older man.

"H…Howard?" he stammered.

Howard smiled. "Yeah it's me," he replied, stroking Vince's fluffy raven hair. "You've just had a bad dream, you were kicking me really hard. I'm not bothered though."

Vince was relieved. "You ain't?"

"Hell no. I've endured worse pain in my life. Now you settle down, and go back to sleep."

He lay down, and the younger man followed, pressing his head against Howard's chest. Howard felt himself falling asleep again, and just as he shut his eyes Vince kissed him softly on the lips.

"I love you so much Howard," he sighed, before falling asleep himself.
