Title: Kurti

Summary: Kurti's a blanket hog. Todd's not impressed.

Disclaimer: I own nothing but Kurti.

Author's Notes: I suddenly realised I wasn't giving my favourite fandom enough attention. And since I suck at angst, and can only write shmoop…

Todd shivered and reached out with his eyes closed, hands blindly searching for the blankets he knew should be covering him right now. His fingers brushed against warm fur, and he opened his eyes in shock, only relaxing when he realised it was Kurti, the kitten Lance had given him for Christmas.

Nasty bugger had stolen his blankets and was currently burrowed in the middle of a nice little nest, purring softly.

Grumbling under his breath, Todd picked up the smoke-grey moggy, and rearranged the blankets so he could sleep under them.

"If I wanted a fuzzy blanket hog I'd've invited Fuzzy to sleep with me, yo." He muttered.

Kurti, having woken when he'd been picked up, mewed pathetically, golden eyes full of reproach.

Todd rolled his eyes, lifting a corner of the blanket and letting the feline curl up next to him.

"Me sleeping with Fuzzy," He snorted, "shyeah, that'll be the day demons skate peace-signs in the ice-rinks of hell and sing songs of joy and love."

A small smile curling his lips, Todd Tolensky fell asleep, and dreamt of a blue fuzzy mutant who purred like his kitten.
