"Sydney," Little Lucie said, "Is pappa freed yet"
Sydney touched the crown of Little Lucie's head.
"I'm trying child," he told her, "I'm doing all that I can. It is not an easy task but one I will acheive. I promise that"
"Is there anything I can do to help make it happen," she asked, "I know I'm little and I'm not smart but-"
"Do not say you're not smart," Sydney told her, "You are as smart as I am if not brighter."
"But you know more then I do"
"Only because I am older and I learned those things. You're yet a child and some of those things you have yet to learn. That doesn't mean you're not smart. It means you're young. Do you suppose that I knew everything I knew when I was your age?"
"I thought you always knew everything you know," Little Lucie said.
"When I was your age," Sydney replied, "I knew a whole lot less then you. When I was your age I just knew about having fun and playing."
"But you know so much about more then one thing," Little Lucie said
"I learned it in school," Sydney replied, "But it took awhile for me to be able to put it together. That is something that you will learn over time."
"Is there anything I can do to help," Little Lucie asked again.
Sydney smiled
"You already have," he said getting an idea
