Akashi's Point of View.

The Seven Things I'm Sorry For

"Hey Akashi, are you sure you're not going to university?" My friend, Midorima asked.

I chuckled. "Yeah, I'm going straight to work. I want to live together with Tetsuya."

"You sure like Tetsuya a lot don't you?" I only smiled at him.

Tetsuya is my older twin. He is precious to me more than anything. He hasn't left our house for five years.

It happened 5 years ago.

Flashback

"Now Tetsuya, intoduce yourself." Our mom said, kneeling in front of my brother. Urging him to talk to the other kids.

It was hard for him to make any friends because of his stutter. That day, our mother brought "friends" for him.

"N-nice to meet you! I'm T-t-tetsuya. D-do you want to play basketball?" He introduce himself properly, but the other kids just laughed at him because of the way he talk.

"He stutters!"

"Whoa what's that"

They never actually liked him, and they were paid to be his friends even from the beginning.

But Tetsuya always believe they were his real friends.

One day when they promised to meet, Tetsuya stood there in the rain waiting.

"Tetsuya!" I ran towards him, holding my umbrella tightly. "...Tetsuya. I'm here to pick you up. Its getting dark, you'll catch a cold like this."

"B-but I have to s-stay. I p-promised my f-f-friends." He replied.

"Anyway, let's go home. You need to change your clothes."

"B-but Sei—

"They're not coming. They... Are not going to come." Tetsuya only bowed his head low.

From that day on, Tetsuya has never been able to leave the house.

End of flashback

Since then, my mother were so disappointed she put him through strict discipline.

"I'm home, mom."

She ignores my very existence. Once I went up these stairs, Its only me and Tetsuya.

"Tetsuya, I'm home." I said gently.

Tetsuya smile. "W-w-w-welcome back!"

"Sorry, were you asleep?" I sat beside him on his bed.

"N-no, I wasn't." He grinned sheepishly and leaned his head on my shoulder.

"Y-you smell like s-sun! Hehe."

"Oh. I guess because I went to the rooftop for a nap today." I wrapped my arms around him and I buried my face on the crook of his neck, inhaling his scent. "You'll smell like me in a bit too."

Since then, time hasn't passed for him. Ever since he became a *hikikomori, he's been very weak. His ribs were always more visible than they would normally be ever since he was young.

"Breathe slowly, ok?" I said.

I took his thin hands into mine.

"Now I'm going to hold onto your hips and go slowly." I held him very gently.

He squeeze his eyes shut as I enter him. "Yeah, you're doing well.. Tetsuya so cute."

Thrusting into my brother with no experience, into a world of sexual pleasure, is like getting a sweet candy for a prize as a child.

"Are you still losing weight, Tetsuya?" I asked.

"I w-wonder."

"Yeah, I can see your bone through your skin." I tackled him on to the bed and tickled him.

"S-stop it!" He said, dying from laughter.

I laid beside him and held his hand. "Tetsuya, let's go outside. I'll always be with you so..."

He only smiled weakly and said "I c-c-can't."

Inside Tetsuya's mind, there are seven gods. Every night, they come to punish him for seven things.

The first thing is for not being able to speak well.

The second, for disappointing his parents.

The third, for not waiting for his friends.

The fourth, for letting those friends down.

The fifth, for hiding indoors.

The sixth, for having sex with his little brother.

"What's the seventh?" I asked him. He smiled and turned his back from me. "I d-d-don't want to t-tell."

Tetsuya's empty back looked like a girl's.

"..Come over here, Tetsuya." I said.

It seemed like if I touch him, he would disappear.

"I see, so no matter what you won't go to university?" Our guidance counselor asked.

"Yes. I want to leave my house and be independent." I replied.

"Well, if you're dead set onto it, I can only support you. Do your best!"

"Yes!"

"I'm home."

"I heard from your teacher that you're going to work. You're such a smart child, and your teacher was even recommending you to a national university. Are you trying to ruin me too?" Mom said, interrogating me. "And you're going to live independently? Are you telling me that you wanted me to live by myself with that little pest?"

I glared at her hard enough to make her flinch. "It has nothing to do with you. Anyway, Tetsuya's going to live with me." I said before turning my back from her.

I have nothing to say to Mother. I'm going to leave this house, and release Tetsuya from it.

"Wow! Its t-tasty.." Tetsuya said, after eating a forkful of vanilla cake.

I smiled at him warmly. "Happy birthday, Tetsuya."

He blushed. "Happy b-birthday to you t-too, Seijuuro! I-I'm really h-happy to be your brother!"

"Ne Tetsuya, when I graduate will you leave this house with me? I want to live together with Tetsuya so.."

"I... I c-c-can't. Sorry."

"What's bothering you? The things I'm saying, what about them that bothers you?" I held his hand tightly. "Tell me, Tetsuya."

He blushed fifty shades. "I'm h-h-happy..."

"I'll definitely make you happy."

If it's the two of us, we can live a happy life together.

"Let's sleep together! After all, its our birthday." I smile reassuringly.

"W-we c-c-can't! I g-grind my teeth, its really embarrassing!"

I chuckled. "I don't really mind."

Tetsuya just buried his face on his pillow. "I'm s-sorry, Its h-h-hard for me to sleep with others."

"Its okay, you don't need to apologize. Good night."

I laid comfortably on my bed. 'What's possibly keeping him from this house? I'll have to talk to him tomorrow.'

I was about to sleep but then, I suddenly heard some voices inside Tetsuya's room.

Is he having a nightmare?

"Tet—

"Stop it Mom. S-s-seijuuro's going to hear." I heard Tetsuya's voice.

"Shut up! I teach you every night, yet you're still shitty at it! Every time you open your mouth, you say the same thing! That you wanted to leave, don't fuck with me!" Mom yelled.

What? What is she saying?

I tried opening the door but it won't open.

"If you ever set a foot outside, I'll never forgive you! Its your fault! Its your fault that they look at me like that!"

I ran back into my room to get Tetsuya's room key before going back. "Damn! Tetsuya!"

"I even tried to help you make friends! Do you even know what I had to go through?! Do you understand?!"

After I opened the door, there I saw Mom in top of Tetsuya.

"I'm very sorry, Mom." Tetsuya moaned, clutching his chest with both of his hands.

And the next thing I knew, I pulled her away from Tetsuya and beaten the crap out of her.

"Your mother was in a drunken rage and began to beat you. Is that what you're trying to say? If your mother did beat you on a regular basis, why do you have little to no bruises?" The officer said, interrogating me.

"..."

"Not saying anything huh. We won't be able to resolve anything like this." He placed a brown envelope in front of me.

"... Its from your brother. He's been coming here to see you ever since "Its all my fault! He didn't do anything wrong!" And he even went as far as to kneel. Your Mother, however is still unconscious. For whose sake did you commit this crime for? We must search for the truth of the matter and proceed according to the law... He always comes to give his testimony, he already told us in the court room, of what your Mother did, all for your sake." The officer sighed.

"To him, you must be, a very very precious person."

I opened the brown envelope that contained a letter adressed for me. Tears started to flow out of my irises as I read the letters content.

'Dear Seijuuro,

When spring comes, lets go collect some shellfish at the shore and see all the cherry blossoms, and let's go see the fireworks at Teganuma's in the summer. In the fall, let's go gather fallen leaves, and in winter let's hold hands and fall asleep together.

I love you Seijuuro. I love you and I will wait for your return.

Love, Tetsuya.'

I smiled and whispered to myself. "I love you too Tetsuya. So much..."
