Rating:
K because its just a poem, completely safe for all eyes to see. :)

Disclaimer:
I, obviously, do NOT own theTwilightSaga; any characters, events, places, scenarios, etc. all belongs to Stephanie Meyer, I do however own this little poem – drabble, whatever – so, "Swiper no swiping!" Haha!

The darkness falls

Twilight seems so near

So many voices running through my mind

So many questions, unanswered

Is life running out of time?

Is it not enough to live with peace of mind?

Love is blind

Candy-coated hate

Sweet and naïve leads off the race

The darkness closes in

It's time to start, again

Wash away the past and the names

Twilight's upon us, once again

The diner ahead – it should be soon

Time to begin the new path around me

It's time…

Fin.

E/N's:
I, actually, wrote most of this poem on April 8, 2010 when I was in a very dark place waiting to start over and now that I have and I found the spiral I look upon this and I can't help but notice so many likenesses between what Alice could have felt when she woke up, alone, after James changed her and left; darkness, voices, questions with no answers – learning to live, again by the premonitions she has and her sweet and naïve ways and knowing that she just has to make it to the diner, to find him to start the new path. Surprisingly enough the line 'Itshouldbesoon' is the only extra line I had to add before uploading this, is this not odd. I'd love to know what you think. I know my poetry is a bit odd, but I'm a big Edgar Allen Poe, Emily Dickenson, etc. –type person; very dark, very deep.

Happy Holidays, everyone! X3
