It was 8 in the evening, Touya, a tall, dark, young man, was going home from his part time job, he was tired and really wanted to go to sleep. As he was walking back home he always pass by the lane of cherry blossoms trees. The flowery lane of pink was as tranquil as ever. After sometime he sensed a powerful aura, a dominant but inactive power. Touya followed the sensation, it was not the air he typically sense around that place. After almost a minute of confused looking around the cherry blossom lane, he felt someone bumping into him and then falling down. "Ah! S-sorry! I'm so sorry!" said a voice from below.
Touya saw an outline of a boy searching for his glasses on the ground. The aura, the one he sensed earlier, was apparently the aura of the gray haired boy searching for his glasses. Touya found the glasses and bent over to grab it so that he can hand it over to its owner. He then offered a hand to the boy below to help the other stand up. The boy held Touya's hand and stood up before grabbing his glasses and bowed politely "I'm really sorry, I wasn't looking ahead" he said. Touya just shrugged it off and starts walking away before saying, "You better pay attention or else you'll bump into someone again" "Y-Yes! Again, I'm sorry for the trouble!" said the boy while bowing.
"Yukito, Who are you talking to?"A soft, old female voice asked "Nothing Grandma. I accidentally bumped at some guy; I wasn't paying attention to the road. The trees here are blooming beautifully so I got distracted!" Yukito said bashfully. "Ah, alright…let's get moving, we will be done soon. And then, maybe we can watch the trees after" said Yukito's Grandmother "Yes!" Yukito said in a very exciting tone.
+Next Morning+
"Bye grandma!" Yukito said in a hurry while waving goodbye "I'm late!"He thought to himself "I don't want to be late for my first day!"
At the gate of Seijou High School, Touya was just entering the gate when he suddenly sensed a familiar aura and turned around to saw from last night falling down directly into him. He managed to catch the boy in time while letting out a soft grunt.
"Ah! I'm so sorry! I tripped! I- I wasn't looking" said the boy in Touya's arms as he adjusts his glasses. To the boy's surprise, he was caught by the same person from last night although this time the guy was smirking at him "I told you, you should pay attention" Touya said as he helps settle the boy up to his feet. "Hey... you!" the boy said while he straightens his blazer. " Me…" Touya answered as he, again, walks away while raising his right hand and waves it.
+Start of class+
"Okay class, please settle down." The teacher said as he enters the classroom full of excited students. " Before I get started, I would like to announce that we have a new student." The teacher said, smiling as he motioned the new student to enter the classroom. "Please come in" the teacher said as everyone mostly the girls squealed in delight when the new student comes in "Please introduce yourself, Tsukishiro-san" the teacher whispered to the new student "Ah…Hello everyone, Nice to meet all of you I'm Tsukishiro Yukito but please call me Yukito" Yukito said as he smiles to his new classmates, delighted to be starting t he school year with new friends. "Alright, Mr. Tsukishiro please sit down on the vacant sit near the window" the teacher instructed before he starts the class.
+Cafeteria+
"Uhm…Tsukishiro, mind if we join you?" a group of girls asked at a table where a certain new student sat and is currently eating. "No... Not at all...and please, just Yukito" Yukito replied happily and offers the chairs next to him.. The girls were thrilled to join him although they were confused at the sight of so much food in one tray. "Yukito you sure eat a lot! Don't you get sick?" one girl asked. "No. you see, I have a high metabolism" Yukito reply with a smile that made the girls swoon.
They talked the whole break time about Yukito. They asked all the common questions to a new student such as where he came from, if he had any siblings and of course, the question silly girls ask to a cute guy, does he have a girlfriend. "No…I don't have any "Yukito replied, still with a smile as he takes a bite from his sandwich. "Really, Did you have any past relationships?" another girl followed. "None, I didn't have any relationship with anyone except for friends and relatives." Yukito said "Oh…I see!" the girls said in unison, happy at the information "Erm…may I ask a question, though?" Yukito started, "Sure what is it?" a girl replied. "May I ask who's the guy sitting near me in class?" "Who? Be specific" the girl asked back. "The tall and dark guy...?" Yukito asked. "Oh! He's Kinomoto Touya! You know, he's the captain of the football club! That's why he has many female admirers! He's so cool while playing, any kind of sports he looks so cool!" The girls agreed in unison and sighed dreamily while he all imagined the captain of the football club. "How about you Yukito, do you play any sports? " a girl asked curiously. "I do play any sports but I'm more into Kyudo" Yukito replied while he opens another bag of sandwich and finished it just before the bell rings, signaling the end of their break time.
The class started again. Yukito was near Touya who was listening attentively to the teacher. Yukito can't help but stare at Touya sneakily "Why do I feel such aura in him? Like...I feel I want to be connected to him." Yukito thought to himself as he continued to eye his classmate with curiosity.
Touya on the other side feels a little aggravated by the way Yukito was looking at him, he would notice since he has that kind of intuition, though he feels at ease at the same time "Its peaceful even with the way he stares at me but that incredible sensation, I can feel a really powerful aura coming from him yet it's not hostile…" Touya wondered to himself, he sighed and decided to shrug it off for now.
At the end of the last class of the day, Most students go to their club and have practice like Touya who was the captain of a sports club. Some students, on the other hand goes home and do their homework and then study or play. But one student wonders around the school premise. He can't be blamed since he just wanted to be familiar with the ambiance and the structure of the school especially he just moved in, Yukito to be exact.
But because this young man is new to the school one can't blame him if he ever gets lost around. "Ah..? It seems like I can't find the school gate…Grandma must be worried about me. I'm really lost, where am I?" Yukito wondered as he continued to walk around until he found a football field "Hey! A football field! Maybe he's here" Yukito looks around until he found who he was looking for. "There! He is a member of the football club." Yukito said to himself while smiling. He found himself sitting on a bench while watching the club practice and train. Time passed and ends the training; Yukito stood up and began looking for the front gate again. He's getting a little bit scared not knowing where to go and he really wants to go home. His grandmother would be worried, Yukito wants to ask for direction but his shyness gets the best of him. Being the new kid at school really has this kind of disadvantage. He doesn't know anyone and he's actually really panicking inside. "Where do I go…?I'm really lost." Yukito continues to look around while putting the tip of his index fingers on his lower lip. "Lost?" someone from behind asked as Yukito felt a surge of familiar sensation. Slowly, he turned around and surprised to see that it was Touya who seems like he's going home himself.. "Ah…unfortunately, yes, I am lost" Yukito said smiling to hide the fact the he is trembling a little bit but gradually feeling better already. Touya chuckled in Yukito's bashfulness and started walking away, again, but this time a little slower. "Better come with me Tsukishiro, I'll show you the way out" Touya offered and with that Yukito blushed. "Am I blushing, why? How embarrassing!"Yukito said to himself while trying to calm his nerves down. "Thank you!" Yukito said walking besides Touya "You can call me Yukito" the gray haired boy said while smiling happily. "Okay" Touya answered while nodding his head in acknowledgement. "Then you can call me Touya" Yukito nodded in reply to the other.
At last Yukito saw the gate, he thanked Touya for showing him the way out "Thank you so much, To-ya" Yukito said while he bows to the other. Touya stared at Yukito which made the latter feel uneasy "W-what is it?" Yukito asked, tilting his head to observe Touya. "The way you said my name" Touya said in amusement "Oh! I'm sorry Is it wrong? " Yukito bowed panicky "Nah… its fine" Touya said walking ahead, smiling to himself "Hurry up!" Touya said to Yukito who got confused. "Uh…why?" Yukito asked in question. "It'll be dark soon" Touya replied back as he waits for the other to catch up. "Ah…yes…but my house.." Yukito replied in confusion. "In order to get to my house we'll passed by yours…so hurry up!" Touya said and began walking again. Yukito started walking too but still hasn't grasped the situation."B-but…" he stuttered. "I'm walking you home, stupid" Touya said half grunting in annoyance. "Oh! Thank you so much To-ya that's very charming of you" Yukito said while smiling sweetly at the back of the other. Touya turned around to refute but is the surprised at how sweet Yukito's smile that he didn't realize that he was blushing. Touya turned around quickly, wishing Yukito didn't see him blush. A few awkward moments later they were at the corner near Yukito's house "Thank you for walking me home To-ya, I really appreciate it" Yukito said, still smiling the sweetest smile. "S-sure" Touya replied while walking ahead after bowing his head slightly.
"Who was it Yukito?" Yukito's grandma asked as she just stepped out of their gate to greet her grandson."Grandma! Oh…he's Kinomoto To-ya…he walked me home. I was sort of…got lost and he showed me the way" Yukito said while smiling to his grandmother while he guides her back inside their house. "Oh…what a kind hearted person. Is he your friend?" "He is very kind. Oh… I think we'll be, grandma, I think we'll be the best of friends." Yukito said smiling at his grandmother while thinking about his new friend, To-ya.
