Kanade's POV in her dorm room
Why? it was only a hunch, but could he really be the one? And why did he attack her? Did he not realize that their hearts might be one and the same? No. She was only imagining. Maybe she had missed his heart or something... Yes, that was why. He could not be the one who gave her the last moments of life she was able to enjoy. How could one forget such a deed? No, the boy was not the one who had given her the heart that beat in her chest. He was just another battlefront member ready to kill her for a misunderstanding. But why? Why did she feel so strange around him? Darn!" She threw the cabinet at the wall. Why does this make me so emotional? This isn't right.

Kanade's POV
Something was different about him. She had felt his chest. There was no heartbeat, and she had taken extra time to look. He was definitely the right person that she was thinking of. But how to approach him? He found it so easy to talk to people, but she was in no way able to do the same! All she could do was talk about her guard skills... Jeez; she couldn't do anything but chop up bullets...
