A/n:Thanks for reading my Van Helsing meets Eragon fanfic Dragon-Rider-Murtagh, and I hope to see the next chapter of your fanfic. Thanks for clicking on this, and now I will start my fic, but first do you think I should make a MurtaghxNasuada? Well please review your comments at the end of the story.
Chapter 1:Springs
It was another wonderful sunny day, the waterfalls sparkling as the suns glare went over them. Murtagh walked into one of the tents that Eragon was in, and asked"Where's Saphira"? Eragon turned around and replied"She's in the forest eating her breakfast, why"?
It's nothing."Murtagh said with a smirk on his face.
Arya walked around the forest, and gathered pine cones, and other nature things.
"Come let's ride on Thorn."Murtagh told Arya.
"Sure Murtagh."Arya said with a smile, then picked up her basket.
Arya climbed onto Thorn, as Thorn lowered his head. Murtagh climed on, and looked back, seeing if Eragon was there.
Murtagh turned back around, as he felt Arya's arms wrapped around his waist. Murtagh touched her head, and looked at her."Well I don't want to fall off."Arya said, holding his waist tighter.
"Ok."Murtagh replied, with a joyful laugh. Thorn flew high into the air, and asked his rider"Where do you want me to take you"?
"To the springs."Murtagh answered.
"Whatever you say rider".
After 1 hour, they made it to a spring. Murtagh jumped off, and then took her hand helping her off. Murtagh took off his shirt, and sat down by the spring, the water moving closer to him. Murtagh then took off his pants, reavealing his black undershorts, he then took off his boots, and placed them aside.
"Thorn, make sure to keep Eragon away, I think he's looking for us."Murtagh said, stepping into the spring.
"Sure rider."Thorn replied, munching a dove that happened to have flown by. Thorn flew off, and started to search for Eragon.
"Arya are you coming in also?"Murtagh asked. Arya stood there shaking her head no."Ok."Murtagh said, as he swam down into the spring. Arya waited on a rock, and thought about why she had left Ellesmera once again. Murtagh swam close to the shore, and grabbed Arya's leg, and she splashed in. Arya popped her head out of the water, and said"That wasn't funny". Murtagh started to laugh ,but hesitated.
Arya began to laugh, and started to splash water on Murtagh. Murtagh swam over, and said"We better get back"."Sure Murtagh."Arya answered.
Murtagh jumped out, and shook his head, and then met eyes with Arya.
"Here's your clothes Murtagh."Arya said, handing them to him. Murtagh put on his shirt, and then his pants, but when he did, he felt something crawling.
"What's in my pants!"Murtagh shouted."Payback."Arya replied, with a giggle.
"Ha ha very funny."Murtagh said, as he finally got the snail out of his pants.
"Eragon's probably talking, and doing stuff with the Varden. Do you want to watch the sunset together?"Arya asked.
"Sure Arya."Murtagh answered."Thanks."Arya said, hugging him.
"Let's countdown also?"Murtagh asked."Sure."Arya said, laughing. Murtagh watched Arya, as she danced in the forest. After awhile she sat down beside him, and enjoyed the sunset.
"Let's do it again, tomorrow."Arya suggested.
"Ok."Murtagh said, standing up."Thorn please find us."Murtagh said, as he waited for Arya to walk beside him. Thorn flew down, and said"Tomorrow will be a better start"."Yeah."Murtagh replied. Thorn flew up into the sky, as Arya layed in Murtagh's lap. Murtagh jumped off when they landed back at the camp, and Arya did the same.
Arya walked beside him intill she reached her tent. Murtagh fell asleep, and thought"Please let me stay with her".
