Author's notes: I haven't written any kind of story in the past 1/1 & a half year since I've been focusing on my artwork. I've been having all these ideas pass through my head and I've finally sat down and written something. Definitely not my best work but I'm going to work on that.

She pulled the shirt over her head and smoothed out the wrinkles, she slowly made her way to the bathroom and did her hair and make up, finally after what seemed like forever she took a shaky breath and looked in to the mirror. If it had been two years ago she would have screamed and collapsed on the floor in a heap of tears tearing the shirt off, the only remaining materialistic item left of her love, and throwing it in the far corner, it had happened at few times before where she laid there rocking for hours until she heard someone come home or come close to her room. Even now, three years later, in another town with another Hellmouth, she could still smell the sweet fragrance that was hers and every single time, memories would follow; images and visions of happier times.

She would see the beautiful flowing blond hair, the well toned skin which she had caressed so many thousand times, the piercing yet gently loving green eyes that shined with love and affection that she did not deserve and yet always, even during their most pained time, remained forever for her. But three years is a long time and sadly she finds it harder to imagine her lovers' touch on her skin, the silky smoothness of her hair and the gently, love filled kiss. Every time she would feel her heart swell up, ready to burst with the amount of emotions, sorrow, pain, hurt, and love she feels and the ever lasting thought of spending all her remaining living time without the one person that made her life shine and worth living.

The only thing keeping her sane was the 'gift' the Powers that Be had give them two years ago. When she was charged with the task of locking into the scythe's power to change a lifelong legacy where one girl would not stand alone in her task of keeping the world safe but instead would stand strong together with hundreds. Sitting there with the scythe in her hands, her power running through it, searching for a way in, she felt her soulmate, her other half's, gentle touch and pure power running through herself and the weapon in front of her. The others did not know it but she had only half of the power needed to fulfill this task. Together they saved the world from total chaos and yet another apocalypse. After that day something changed within her, she began to understand that moving on did not mean to forget but to cherish everything and to keep the memories strong. She knew that her lover was content in heaven, always looking over her and staying at her side. She knew that her lover did sing to her and always would be there to lend a helping hand if needed and that she would be waiting at the end of the tunnel when the time came for she was her's, always and forever.
