A Romantic Night

It was a beautiful night. A mellow crescent hung subtly in the star-filled sky. The waves rippled onto the shore, caressing the sand. A gentle fog hushed the wind and dampened the evening light.
A young couple in long-locked destiny lay on the fine, sparkling beach. With sterling hair and eyes as of crystal, a boy gazed at the moonlit horizon. A girl with hair of crimson, red as blood, and eyes that shone like amethysts, Was mesmerized by the flowing waters of the ocean.
She laid her head on the shoulder of the one she felt she truly loved. A cracking sound was heard throughout that world as bits of the boy's shoulder fell to the ground. "Darn it, Kairi! That's the third time!" Riku's voice glided swiftly down the beach as he and the girl stared at his shattered arm.
Kairi's head was way too big.
