Disclaimer: I don't own fma, oh well!
A/N This takes place after episode 51, but before the movie. (I haven't see it) And, it will contain spoilers!
Edward Elric glanced around the snowy square, shivering ever so slightly. He gave a depressed sigh, realizing it was close to Christmas. How he missed home. He had only his father here with him, and he wasn't really that close to him. They were related, and he stayed with him, but that was pretty much it. No more, no less.
He stared around, meeting the eyes of no one. He hated it here. No automail, very little family, nothing he wanted. He literally had no friends here. The bleak square seemed even lonelier then before, with the thoughts of family on the other side.
Over at the small shop, he noticed someone, a familiar face. It was Hughes, and his young daughter, (who looked exactly like the child he helped deliver). He watched them window-shopping, and gave another heart filled sigh. This was turning out to be the worse Christmas ever. They were so happy looking, and it was true. They were.
At another turn, and he spotted another two, what would be Roy and Riza. They were walking hand in hand, and they looked very content. He noted the rings on their fingers, and smiled. They were married. He laughed, thinking about how Roy and Riza were, back home.
Moving further away, he bumped into a slightly taller man, with black hair. He was walking a dog. He smiled at him, and the man apologized, "That's alright." He replied, and they both continued. He'd just met the altar of Cain Fury, the dog lover, and here, dog owner.
Two men walked across the street, and Edward sighed. They were also window-shopping, probably for there girlfriends, or, he smirked, one another. They were laughing joyously, and they waved to Roy and Riza, and Cain. Each would wave and smile back. These were this world's Havoc and Breda
Another man also waved at Fury, with dark and gray hair. Cain moved toward him, and they shook hands and the two headed toward where ever. "Veto Falman." He thought, dark thoughts lingering in his mind. Everyone here, the familiar faces all reminded him of home, and how badly he wanted to get home, and how much he missed them. Even the Colonel!
He silently hoped not to see Winry, or Al, perchance. They would make the pain of being a world away from home worse. Just like everyone else here.
"I'll have a blue Christmas without you. I'll be so blue, just thinking about you…decorations of red, on a green Christmas tree…won't be the same here, If your not here with me…"
He was singing quietly to himself, as he made his way to his location of residence, which only had a few decorations, and a tiny tree with cheap red decorations. He opened the door, and found his father, just reading. It was like any other day. They both didn't want to celebrate the holidays, so they wouldn't properly.
"And when those blue snowflakes, start fallin', that's when those blue memories, start calling…"
A/N I hope you enjoyed it! Does anyone want me to write a sequal? Review please!
