July 30 2012 my house
It was my 13th birthday and my parents got me A TRIP TO DISNEY LAND with ONLY me and my friends Maya, Olivia, and Payton! We got to LA and we decided to go walk around to see the sights when felt something cold and wet dripping down my back. As I turned around I saw a man apologizing about the diet coke soaking my back. I thought it was some random guy on the street but it wasn't. It wasn't Brad Pitt or Taylor Lautner. I saw Chris Colfer! I swear to god I almost fangirled right on the spot but I kept cool and realized he was talking. "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry. I'm so clumsy. Can I get you some napkins or something I feel really bad." Then he noticed my Glee keychain and said "I'll do you one better. How would you like to come visit on the set of glee... Umm what is your name" "Amira" I said still in disbelief this was happening. My friend Maya was slow enough to ask who he was not being a gleek herself. " Oh Sorry forgot that part. I'm Chris, " he said while extending a hand out to all of my friends and me . " so are you up for going to the set?" he questioned. "YES" my friends and I shouted! Them because they had never been on a Hollywood set and me because it was GLEE and Let's just say I never left home without a little something something that I needed to show Ryan Murphy.
We left in the limo my parents had sent us to paramount studios and Chris let our chauffeur in through the gates. I figured now was the time to fangirl. I let out the loudest squeal accompanied by a traditional flail and basically summed up season 1,2, and what happened so far in season 3 to my friends so they knew what to expect from the show. " And Santana slapped Finn. So that's what happened so far." my friends let out a "Ohhh" and we were getting out of the limo walking in with Chris to set 23 GLEE! We walked In to see not only my hardcore girlcrush Darren Criss , but Kevin Mchale , and Idina Menzel! I held it in trying to be professional but Payton my theatre geek friend almost passed out after screaming "OhMYGOD Elphaba!" At Idina, Olivia my Starkid friend scream/singing "OMWizardGod you're Harry Freaking Potter!" , and Maya my NLT fan screaming "OhMYGOD you're Kevin!" At that moment I wished I could kill my friends but they all recieved a humble thank you from their idols and were in a fangirl daze from it all. Chris walked up to Darren gave him a peck on the cheek and sat down next to him while introducing me to the now wake king in cast. The fan in me blurted, " I knew CrissColfer was real." and the refereed to actors just laughed. Ryan Murphy walked in and asked who I was I told him my story and he welcomed me on set. He said to me he likes fan advice and wanted to meet with me on how I thought this season was going. Of course I agreed and we walked to his office. I then took my shot and handed Ryan the script I had been writing scone I was 11. He took it and read through it. " Wow this is amazing. Did you write this?" I swiftly nodded and he said "Id love to use this for an episode this season would you let us?" Here was my chance at the one thing I wanted most. "Absolutely on one condition" "fire away" he said. "You let me audition for the new role." " How could I say no" said Ryan
The rest you can probably figure out. I auditioned, my friends went home, I got the part and Ryan Murphy told me the role was written by me and meant for me "there was no one who could play it better." I was now going to be a main role on glee, Alex Anderson. Blaine's little sister. That is where I am now. It's my first day on set and the day is starting. Wish me luck!
