Tacit Goodbyes
It's time. - rosescorpius
He's gone by now, it seems, and maybe it was just for the best.
It's been much too long, spending so much time together, that he knew had to leave before everything became too suspicious than just two friends, or maybe something else too. He knew it wouldn't work whatsoever. Maybe it's that kind of cliché, the boy falling for the best friend, but things change and she throws in a cousin, or two, and he unwillingly makes all the wrong choices, too, and the news is that he's now fathered a son with one of her cousins, of all people. They've been raised to be better than this, but it's the redundant amount of fame they've both got; the reputation they acquired, and their family makes it hard to be themselves, for once.
She's distraught, he's been drowning in misery already, and it seemed to be good for both of them.
It's a time of goodbyes, when life is too hard, time would try to repair the space they once took, and replace it with the newest of generations.
They will be remembered by their peers and family, opinions of good, or bad, but they will be remembered as people that society killed with choices and temptations and the pressures of trying to live up to the expectations of the lives before.
It's now time to say goodbye. And don't forget to remember.
a/n: I would really be honoured if you were kind enough to leave a review.
