Everyday
Sun streamed through the window, landing on the sleeping couple whose naked bodies were minimally covered by white sheets. Slowly Jane Rizzoli opened her eyes, blinked slowly and looked down at the blond woman who currently slept soundly on her chest, her head placed right over her heart and her hair the only cover for her breasts.
A soft smile graced Jane's lips as she gently tucked a golden lock of Maura Isles hair behind her ear and gently began to run her long fingers through the sleeping women's honey locks. Jane's chocolate eyes looked all over Maura's body, steadily memorizing every portion of her body that her eyes could see and gaze at and began to softly hum the beginning of the song "Everyday" to herself as she gazed lovingly at Maura.
As Jane hummed the last line to her song, Maura's eyes fluttered open, to see the content looking Jane looking at her with nothing but love in her eyes.
"Hey" Maura whispered softly, a goofy smile beaming from her face. Jane smiled back and whispered "Hey". Slowly Maura stretched out her body before going back to its original position on top of Jane and gently nuzzled her face into Jane's neck, giggling when she felt Jane shiver ever so slightly. Jane's long fingers danced over Maura's smooth back, nothing but admiration coming from her simple touches and continued to hum her song softly to herself again.
Maura raised her head ever so slightly, recognizing the tune almost immediately and ever so quietly asked "Sing the last part, please." Jane looked down at Maura and cut her humming off to sing in her low voice the last part of the song and coincidentally Maura's favorite part.

As Jane finished the song and looked at Maura with only pure love in her eyes, Maura kissed her softly and whispered "That was beautiful." Jane blushed at the compliment and simply kissed Maura again, letting the intensity of her love flow through the kiss. As they pulled away from each other Maura whispered softly "I love you." Jane smiled and pulled her back against her body, holding her tenderly against herself.
Silently Maura thought to herself how much she loved moments like this where Jane could be the hopeless romantic that would sing to her in bed without a care in the world. She giggled again when she also knew that Jane would adamantly deny that she was any sort of romantic, knowing all the teasing the guys would give her if they ever found out. Snuggling closer to her detective she smiled at the thought of how the big badass Jane Rizzoli had her soft, romantic, spots too, and how they made this woman an even more amazing creature.
Maura lightly kissed the skin over Jane's heart and lazily closed her eyes allowing sleep to claim her once again. Just before sleep could fully attain her though she heard Jane's rough voice quietly say "I love you too." Both women fell back asleep with content smiles adorning their faces.
