Yellow!
this was a story that i just desided to write.
nothing big or anything, but just felt like it.
i geuss you could say it's a "Thankx" to fanfiction, considering the 1st part is about fiction.
ENJOY!!
RATED: PG11. just implies stuff about stuff.Oh, how simple it can be- to get one's self lost in a book of fiction. The pages are sprinkled with magic, there for you waiting to be read and reread and you're on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. The fiction takes over your mind, and soon, you're not too sure of what's real and fiction any more.
Because it's fiction, you don't have to mourn so much if your favorite character dies. You can always spend you office hours or school hours staring outside the window and wondering 'what if' s all day.
But it's so hard when you come crashing back down to reality-
You land with a giant THWACK! on the ground and it takes you a few minutes to realize where you are- you aren't in Never Land any more Peter Pan, you're in Reality—
And that's exactly what happened with Riza E. Hawkeye- she got lost in a sea of blue sheets and the magic of fiction had long ago already taken control of her mind. Like waiting for a new page to read, she waited for a new kiss to come and returned it even more so passionate and heated than the last.
It didn't even seem real- the fraternization rule. It seemed like something that was thought up a long time ago and didn't even matter anymore. And who would know? Or who would care? The intense heat can make you dizzy some times.
And then it all came crashing down.
While he slept, she remained awake the entire time. She realized what she had let slip through her fingers, what she had promised herself that she wouldn't do know matter how much it hurt not too, or how wonderful it felt.
Her mind was racing like a carousel gone bizarre. Why had she done this? How did she let this happen? What if some one found out? What if someone cared? What if someone told? What if she got pregnant? What if this was just a one night stand for him? Oh, those stupid 'what if' s.
He rolled over on his side and looked at her drozely but conserningly as well. He could something was bothering her, he had always had knack for that. She tried looking at the wall hoping that she wouldn't have to look at him and his forever black abyss of eyes. It didn't work. He gently took hold of her jaw bone and guided it until it was a few inches away from his own jaw bone. She had to look in his eyes. When she did, she found that they had a mixture of looks and emotions. They were happy, tired, curios, bold, and what was that? She looked deeper into the blackness and found…sadness? Sadness, yes, but it was backed up by understanding.
Her eyes widened. All the 'what if' s went away and she felt a bit more relieved.
He understood everything that she was feeling and thinking because he had been thinking those too. He knew the risks he was taking, and everything in between. He knew what would happen if they were caught or if someone had found out. He knew what would happen if she got pregnant. He knew this wasn't a one night stand.
It was unspoken, but she soon realized something that she hadn't been able to admit until now.
Even if it was reality, just being in it with him made it seem like fiction all over again.
