SKY POV
I was padding through our dazzling backwoods, which were rich with trees of amber at that time of season. The wind was tousling my brown fur, along with my mane, as I crunched through the leaves. My bushy tail wagging in the air behind me and my light blue Umbreon-like ears were glowing. This place held so many memories… anyway, it was a new day and it happened to be the day I had to stalk up on some Oran berries before winter sprang for my exploration team, team Guardians, when I heard a lot commotion.
I ran over to where the noise was coming from, as I moved forward the clatter that before I couldn't understand formed words I could.
"The one they call Squirrelkit… she might be able to come in handy." My heart pounded as I turned to leap behind an Oran berry tree at the sound of the low powerful voice. " But that would mean one more we have to return!" Another deep voice arose to dispute the first one. I could feel their power surging into me and overwhelming me.
"Well we already got the info on the others that have already been chosen." Said a high reassuring voice in a nearby tree.
I wanted to know what was going on so I decided to sneak a quick glance around the tree, but as I braced my paw against the ground the area suddenly collapsed and I fell. Well, maybe I was overreacting but it was a well sought out pit-trap. I used me claws to grip into the dirt walls on the side. I heaved myself on to the ground, but I misaimed and went to far. I looked up from the clearing I landed in.
My heart froze and the half second I was out there felt like hours until I'd finally manage to pull myself back behind my hiding place. Then I couldn't tell right from wrong. I couldn't tell if it was real or my mind playing tricks on me, but one thing I could tell for sure is that all the Pokémon there stopped and was starring at me. I could feel their stares burning my pelt and then I thought they could burn right through the trees. The good news is I got up before they could see me. The thing that really got me going was that they were all legendary Pokémon.
