It's December 24, the day before Christmas. It seems like a normal morning, but it's not. Something feels....different. I looked outside my bedroom window, seeing a wonderland of snow. I guess that's why they call it a Winter Wonderland. I want to tell Freddie, even if Spencer is still asleep. I ran downstairs and walked towards to Freddie's loft. I knocked on the door and waited for a few seconds. He opened the door and greeted me with a, "Hi Carly! Why are you here so early?" in a cheerful way. "I want to show you something," I replied.

"Wait, would Spencer and my mom notice that we're awake?" Freddie asked. "Don't worry, Spencer's a heavy sleeper. You mom.....I don't know," I responded. "Spencer wakes up easily," Freddie murmured. "What?" I questioned. "Nothing. Now, what were you supposed to show me?"

I held his hand, leading him to the window. "Look, it going to be a White Christmas this year," I pointed while he looked. "Indeed, it will be. This type of weather is perfect for the holidays and winter strolls," Freddie commented. "I want to take a winter stroll with you," I murmured. I hugged him while watching the snowflakes fall down slowly. "Now, in return, I want to give you this," Freddie added. He took something out of his pocket. "It's just a rectangular case," I said."

"No, it's not," he responded. He opened the rectangular, velvet case, only revealing a necklace with snowflakes on it. He put it on my hand, then he laid a kiss on my lips. That one kiss feels like it lasted forever. It also felt like we were the only two people in the whole world. We were free from the chains of parents and other adults. But, it is only a teenager's dream. He broke apart that the kiss and said, "Merry Christmas Carly." Surprisingly, I said unconsciously, "Kiss me again." He smiled, and he did. The world disappeared again.

I didn't notice that Spencer was there saying, "Carly! What are you doing?" Freddie broke the kiss again. He only stared at us, and silence went through the whole day. Probably dating a smart boy is as good as dating a bad boy. I'll never know unless I try.
