Subway Trauma

Disclaimer: I do not have ownership of Inuyasha. Or subways trains.

Warning: Fluffiness

"Inuyasha!" Kagome protested as she crossed her arms at scowled at him "Stop it, you can't come!" she told him.

"Feh, wench I'm coming and that's that." He told her. They were in Kagome's era and were right in front of her house. "You're not going without me!"

"But, I'm going to the new grocery store. I'll be back soon, just stay!" she said frustrated, trying to go yet again.

"What are you going to buy without this?" he asked holding up her wallet.

She dug her hand in her blue purse and looked astonished "How'd you get that?"

"Souta showed me. He called it a 'Magik Trick'…." Inuyasha said holding the wallet tightly "So are you gonna let me come?"

"…." She sighed and rolled her eyes. She smiled at him "Fine. Now give me my wallet."

He grinned and handed the wallet over. He picked his red cap up off the ground. And put it carefully on his head.

Kagome started for the subway station, Inuyasha following her. "You're going to buy ramen aren't you?" he demanded anxiously.

She laughed "Don't worry Inuyasha. I'll buy potato chips too." She added and his eyes lit up.

"Yes!" he cheered and they reached the subway station. She bought two tickets and they went down the stairs, Kagome carefully dodging his questions about the escalators.

"I'll tell you later." She said and leaned against a wall when they were at the station.

Inuyasha looked around the platform avidly, enjoying the new sights. Then a little girl and her mother and brother came onto the platform. The little girl was hugging a doll and the young boy grabbed the doll and threw it across the platform, laughing. The little girl cried in distress and ran after the doll as the mother started to scold her son. Inuyasha picked up the doll and handed it to the girl with a smile "Here you go." He said smiling while thinking she looks a lot like Kagome

She wiped tears from her eyes and grinned at him "Thanks Mister!" and, hugging her newly reacquired doll, ran back to her mother.

He looked back at Kagome to see her smiling at him. He frowned and crossed his arms "Watcha looking at wench?" he asked gruffly.

She walked over to him "Just a sweet guy" she said and smiled wider.

"Feh" he said and then held his hands to where his ears would be if the cap wasn't over them and yelled in pain as the train pulled into the station with it's loud noises.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome said worried "Oh no, it's to loud! I should have known." She said starting to help him away from the platform.

She stopped when she saw the little girl in front of them "You okay Mister?" she asked, as worried as Kagome was.

Inuyasha just groaned and shook his head "Too loud…" he said, wincing.

"Here you go Mister. I hope you feel better." She said putting something in his hand then hurrying to her mother and brother and getting on the train.

Kagome got him out of the station and started for home. Once they were home, she sat next to Inuyasha under the tree. "Inuyasha, are you alright?" she asked concerned.

"Yeah…my ears are just sore…" he muttered, taking his cap off and rubbing his ears. He opened his hand and smiled, showing it to Kagome. It was a little wooden heart.

"Aww, that was so sweet…." She said. She looked at Inuyasha and feeling a bit guilty, since she was the one who took him on the subway, she started to rub his ears. She was surprised by the purring like noise that emerged from his throat and smiled. And that's how they stayed for the rest of the day, Kagome rubbing Inuyasha's ears, the shopping forgotten as they enjoyed each others company.

A/N- I just wanted to do a sweet sort of one-shot and I went on the subway last week. So I got the idea for this, please review and tell me what you think!
